Dear Bro, Water always keeping equal level either in ground wells or tanks that interconnected over the Ground. When we recharge water from external sources to well water, surely water level will come up for sometime. But, that increased level will flow to adjacent wells to maintain ground water level in to a equal height. For a practical example , I added pottassium permanginate in to my Bore well. The Adjacent borewells were shared the color internally and automatically which shows that there are underground internal connectivity that can pass water from one well to another well to maintain level. Last Summer, Maximum borewells of my area dried and my well is the deepest in this area. I recharged my bore well with 30,000 liter water through a water trailer tank. Next morning, I witnessed that all other adjacent bore wells maintained ground water levels that can be pumped out. This ground action shows recharging of a well is practically possible, through external sources. In order to seal the water seepage through internal water veins , well chamber is to be reinforced like a water tank. Orelse recharged water will flow to lower area to maintain water level.

Already pipes are connected from terrace. Another point is that I have vegetable garden over terrace. While rains, its organic fertilizers like biogas slurry may leak out from drums or grobags.. May I know your advise?

Digging hole near the well is not an effective method for well recharge. So i did not suggest it.
