I haven't even been playing this season but still watched the whole guide. Great job in talking slowly and clearly enough for people to understand everything. I bet this sort of commentary with low edit is a lot easier to make than the previous full guide, bit it's just as useful.

Good overview! I used to rush Rylai in S13, even before lost chapter when the opponent's waveclear isn't overwhelming. I really found the permanent slow from R so useful on the first few skirmishes. Else, I definitely agree with the LostChapter Into Rylai into Malignance into situational (damage or tank). But in that case, not with double mana runes : only ribbon. Thanks for opening my eyes on Conqueror.

I'm finally understanding more of thegame. I've been playing LOL since 2011 but always just for fun, a few times I've tried to get a good rankdbut all i've got it was Plat 1 (before Emerald). And since I meet your channel i've been playinng strategically and i'm enjoyng the game more. Ill try to get at least diamont this year. Thanks for the tips.

I got so tunnel visioned on items since I found myself really success on the ability haste super server build last season. They added and removed items on season 14 with the mythic restriction removed. Now I got some guidelines on what to and not to buy in a game of swain mid. Thanks for the guide!! I really love your videos and your mindset on league of legends.

Thanks so much Husum for the effort you put into sharing your wisdom for us aspiring Swain players. This is such a great gift of knowledge you've given us.
In your build section you talked about running the Phase Rush keystone rune against certain ranged matchups where you need more mobility. I was wondering if you could elaborate on the Phase Rush rune a abit more (either in comments or in a video, whatever works for you). How do you play when using this rune? Do you just play as normal and benefit from the proc randomly, or do you try to proc it intentionally under certain situations? Aery seems pretty hands off, but since Phase Rush has a decent CD surely this alters how you play while running it?

thanks, i just play like i normally would, but i will be getting speed boosts here and there in fights to disengage or run even further in.

Great video, super helpful with everything, build paths, runes and matchups!
A few extra tips
- Use W on sidelanes if they engage with hard cc, easy assist
- if you're sure you will land an E drop W first then pull them into it before the snare ends
-Use W to scout objectives or stop enemy recalls
- If the enemy gets out of range from your ult, you can fake retreating and step back and throw your E to catch them again if they dont pay attention
-Use W to zone enemys and cut them off for yourself or team

Nice vid, only thing you didn't talk about is shadowflame. Any thoughts on the item for swain it seems good with the increased dmg for AOE but the ap is a bit wasted
could have included it but didnt wanna make the items section more confusing than it is haha, but yeah shadowflame is also playable if you are more into dmg swain.
What do you think of electrocute? I have decent success with the manaless build with presence of mind only, and electrocute with cheap shot allows me to chunk the enemy laner every other big E. But im a casual player so idk how the build translates into higher elo.

Great guide. I tried 30 games of Swain apc and it feels more difficult to play than an auto attacker, like it's really punishing to miss your abilities, but I enjoy the new challenge. What do you guys think is the best support for Swain? Stuff like Senna or Ashe and asking them to go full damage feels good if I build tanky.

Nice video, but what about early Dark Seal? Does it have priority over Lost Chapter; when is DS efficient and when is it not, and how can one tell in advance, prior to the mid-late game?

Any thoughts on deathcap? Last season when I got a lead early it felt like it snowballed really hard. around 500 dmg q's at 2 items
i think its too expensive and bad build patch, only something i would go if im giga winning but even still id still go other items since swain isnt the best user of raw ap anyways

I saw in one of your videos you used W to push sidewaves in the lategame. Maybe also a good way to secure some income as support swain while the laners aren't looking 😈

i played a lot Swain support just bc he's better in team fights and bc there are more targets for my AOE. But i found solo lanes being better for him bc of the gold adn the extra item slot, makes a big diff.

I have a question, i have a lot of trouble to reach in mid/late game adc like ashe or kog where i'm fully slowed or cc, is this just impossible to play around that or am I missing something ?
yeah youre not supposed to beat or catch those guys alone without flash or they walk into you. Thats where the team ascept of the game comes in hopefully you 5 can play together with engage or other strats to catch them.

I have a E trigger finger problem. Whenever I hit E, I E2 right way which screws over my W. It somehow became muscle memory which is annoying. Also I know it's very rare but brand is awful to play against mid.
i don't think that's just swain, i'm pretty sure literally no one likes brand

haha ty, i just use some hair foam in the hair when its still wet, then dry it with hairdryer so it warms up and stays like how i make it

I’d like to add that runes and builds should be different per server, like husum said use your brain because everything is situational. And this is what works with him like oce super server games are long so scaling mana builds are more effective. same with low elo where people don’t know how to end so game are 30-40 minutes long
