"How long is this ult" That's the thing about Swain. You just... don't fight him when he's ulting. Wait out his ult and THEN fight him. His ult is absolutely ridiculous and so fun to play. The 5v1 was insane.

Hey zwag I have a question for you (you can answer in your videos, I almost watch them all).
When you have low health minions (5:35), you generally go for the ranged ones. Is there a reason or just habit?
Maybe there are less minions hitting the backline and that might increase cs probability, I don't know...

Or focus passive-aggressive with gathering storm to guarantee some damage into mid to late game with even more health. Maybe a even add a Rhylais or cosmic drive to be really fast. Maybe on Ahri, Annie, Cassiopeia (her ult stuns, so it should give max damage per activation, if they are stoned), Katarina, kennen, Nunu?, Teemo would be fine i think, it might be my favorite new item.

Right now I am spamming Vlad and swain top with grasp. I just outlive most of the top lane and out poke them as well. The only problems are trundle that doesn't care about you and Yone with the balance shield

Played a tank build on swain support, riftmaker -> heartsteel -> jakshos -> hollow radiance and i just steamrolled the enemy team, as the support i finished the game level 18 and their entire team wasnt able to reach level 18. Shoutout to my ashe adc tho, the synergy was crazy
I just had a swain game and lost so early because my team all lost so came to watch zwag 😊

And of course, Sion was the only one to build any anti-heal, against Nasus and Swain, the healing tanks. Shoutout to Malphite for getting bramble vest near the end though.
This would be disgustingly good on a fiddles aswell since both Swain and fiddles rely on their ults

Okay hear me out.
Try summoner aery swain with scorch and go full ability haste with cosmic ability haste boots and some mild MR. Then you take Liandrys and rift maker mid game. This build is INSANE. You run them down so quick early game and every team fight early game in the jungle is a sure win. Try it.

You forgot to add Unending Despair to this build. It procs conqueror, Liandry's, and and Riftmaker, and deals damage based on max HP.

Thay's a really good counterpick against tanks. If they had switched their Sion to inting Sion like you had Nasus they could still do a macro comeback.
Lesson learned-don't multi frontline into Swain.
Yo btw im pretty sure you can use swain ult before riding the rift herald
All of Swain's abilities are AoE, so Rift effectively only gives 2% omnivamp. You really buy it for the HP > AP scaling
If anyone wants to try Swain, I have played some games with malignance and don't think it's very good on him. His best items are almost always some combination of Rylai, cosmic, rift, liandry, frozen heart, jaksho, and spirit visage.
I haven't tried a max MR shred build with abyssal + malignance + magic pen, maybe that would work.
my go to swain build is summon aery cosmic, rylais/lyandris, riftmaker then full tank depending on the comp like abyssal/frozen heart/jak etc

You need to go MF with axiom arc, malignance, and experimental hexplate and ultimate hunter for the ultimate ult reset/cooldown.
One of the best swain performance imo. Cool skin but i still prefer the boss from tokyo ghoul skin tho. Haha. Ggwp and congrats sir on your new season in life. 🙂🙏

I played support Sion a couple days ago and it went unreasonably well. You should give it a try.

Yeah the new Malg is powerful on Swain. I played a match with it and had a sweet engage by my Rammus. Went on to get a Penta off of it.
What if your replace liandry's with heartsteel instead. Double down the swainy hp scaling into rift ap scaling.
And does your ult actually trigger shadow flame empowered maligma's?
In case it does you could scale so high, you replace spirit visage with shadowflame at full build that scaled.
Just some lategame supercharged swain ligma's for the fun modes.
Ligma's to the max, rigth before riot declares it to much fun. And sends in the unfun coders to nerf it.
I was up against this Swain build and used your Ashe's build. He killed my whole team but I killed them all because they couldn't get close.
