He was later convicted of lying about being in ISIS, but this was after the Canadian government had failed at every single attempt to prosecute ISIS members and seems like it might have been an alternate approach. Despite this being a massive nothing, it destroyed careers at the NYT and Grim thinks it should have destroyed more. What a weasel.

I grew up with Jon Stewart at his peak, railing against FOX, dismantling every single one of their talking points, etc. I was and am, firmly in the anti-republican camp, there isn't much else you can say that will make me think less of that ideology. That said, when I see what I used to consider to be a reputable news source like CNN or NYT spew known lies, it hits different because I used to hold them in higher regard. How can Destiny not grasp that?
Destiny saying Russiagate was nothing compared to people worrying about Hillary's emails is also nuts. They spied on Trump using a FISA warrant by alleging he was working with Russia on the basis his aid met with Russian officials, knowing full well he met with those Russian officials as a CIA asset. The FBI guy Clinesmith was convicted of a felony for altering the documents to hide this.
Destiny should be the subject of a TDS case study. He does so well calling out lies up until it hits some point that triggers cognitive dissonance.

When people say you need to live by your own principles, it’s a way of fixing these problems. I asked this question quite a while ago and the article I was quoted even said Tucker didn't, and that Fox had held up his comments as proof in their favor.

Can someone explain to me why destiny always brings up the Fox News thing. To me that story didn’t illuminate anything that everyone didn’t already know. Of course pundits at major news stations say a bunch of stuff on air that they don’t actually believe, that’s the whole job. They don’t pick what they want to talk about everyday they get scripts/talking points. It is zero surprise to me that the people at fox didn’t believe a lot of the stud they said on air. Something similar happens with joy reid (to a lesser extent) where when she thought they went to a segment break she said something to the affect of “start another war Biden” right after she just got done defending his actions on that very subject. Maybe I am missing a certain aspect of that story but if it’s just about pundits lying then I don’t get why it’s a big deal….
