For anime music, these are quality songs. I listen to a lot of Jrock and metal but Kessoku Band blows many of them out of the water! You can tell by their song writing and technicality. Great cover btw!

Haven't watched anime in like 5+ yrs but all my friends that know I play guitar said I *had* to watch Bocchi . I'm glad that they did cause now I have like 5+ Kessoku songs I wanna learn haha and the show was great too. Thankfully I've played for a few years already so learning through you shouldn't be too rough (except that 5string sweep LOL that may take a bit. I imagine it took you hours of just that one part to get it too). Awesome covers man and thanks for the on screen tabs too!

Watching BTR made me want to pick up my guitar again after not really doing anything with it for years. I absolutely loved the music in the show, and I've done nothing but watch covers of the songs because the songs are so good. For the past week I've been trying to share my short lesson on that lick because so far, up until your cover, pretty much no one got it right. Even Mitsui-san's playthrough on the Aniplex channel was sloppier than it should have sounded.
I have spent WAY too much time on that one part, looking at mitsuo's playthrough as the reference, and it is a grim reminder that I need to practice my 5 string sweep picking lol

This is a brilliant cover, and you're doing god's work with making your tabs so readily available and having them synced with your playing too. I've been playing acoustic guitar for many years, and this made me want to transition over to electric. I'm too sure about pedals, though. What pedals should I get for reproducing the effects for bocchi's part?
On the bocchi the rock wiki, it actually states her gear, but I'll copy paste it here
- She uses a Gibson Les Paul Custom 1968 Reissue Ebony
- Along with the guitar she uses a Boss Blues Driver (BD-2) effects pedal.
- In episode 12 of the anime, Bocchi is shown to use a Boss BD-2 Blues Driver, a ProCo RAT, a Dunlop GCB-95 CryBaby Wah and a Boss MS-3 Multi-FX Switcher, all of which is powered by what fans believe to be an MXR M238 DC Brick, along with a Marshall JCM900 guitar amplifier.
In chapter 42 of the manga, upon finding a pedal some fans believe to be a Klon Centaur, based on its recognizable design, in a second-hand store, she mentions having wanted that pedal for a while, but not buying it previously because it was too expensive
@@PulseGTR I've actually seen a few of those posts, but I was just wondering what are the minimum amount of pedals I can get. I'm trying to spend as little as possible, and some of the stuff she has is pretty expensive
@@ThreeRollingDices you could always look into plugins for your laptop/PC and getting a guitar interface instead. It's much cheaper and can allow you to get access to a multitude of effects for your guitar tones without having to go crazy buying a bunch of gear. It won't be 1:1 exact of course but you can get pretty dang close with enough experimentation and a bit of patience when it comes to learning how it all works.
