Never understood why people hated zeke. Yes he killed people for no reason but once you see his backstory you understand he’s just trying to end their suffering from the cruel world they’re in. One brother wants a peaceful resolution for freedom and the other brother wants to massacre to gain that freedom as he believes everyone’s special for being born. Both these ideologies clashing is what makes AoTs character development top tier.
I think its a combination of his ideals and the way he treats lives with such little meaning. On one hand he wants to end their suffering but then throws rocks at them and pretends its a baseball game. He killed countless to get to his goal which is not very noble to say the least. (Sorry if this is bad to read i am awful at writing anything)

Although it is not as clear-cut as most eldians in the internment zone, but it clashes with Eren's ideology in the sense that "you should have never been born on this earth, therefore you have a responsibility to the world over yourself". On top of that, it is also pitiful that much of his actions are tied to his egregious daddy issues which eren points out. Much of this could've been stopped or at least tamed if zeke heard Grisha's apology at a younger age. Of course every villain has a backstory, but it just makes him look like a small man.
I mean will eldians really have been “free” if Zeke managed to go through with his plan? 🤔 I say its more like giving eldians milk of the poppy until they just die (shout out any Game of Thrones fans on here)
He does want to save eldians but at the same time he has no shred of regret of how many lives he killed, he enjoyed killing them and ironically he wants to save them, so to me he's a piece of shit and he didn't deserve that treatment as a child.
You hate a character for one season and then u understand their story and why they did what they did in the next. AOT has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The AMV was made graciously. Deserves a subscribe for sure.
Criminally underrated character. Definitely my fav. I wish we got to see him fight another shifter hand to hand. His claws plus hardening, and larger mass and strength as the beast titan could be interesting to see. Amazing edit byw

Zeke and Erwin are my favorite characters of the anime...I don't know why zeke gets all the hate..the guy killed some people as all others did but eventually he had the most peaceful plan to solve the conflict..he has a great back story that any of us can relate to..I love him honestly
