-Your backpacks look very promising, and the Legion color scheme seems awesome. -You might consider adding visual cues to vanilla F4 armor modifications: "pocketed" adds a pouch, "deep pocketed" adds two, "asbestos lining" adds a dark grey cloth under the pieces, "brawler" adds spikes and/or sharp edges... not sure it's worth it because players are used to mod armor and not see any visual changes, but that's also the reason it could be a distinct feature of your mod(s). -Scav-themed backpack could improve your chance to find ammo/caps, like a weaker version of the related perks. -The tech backpack could be upgraded with a "tesla field", represented by tesla coils, improving against energy damage and/or radiation. A Mr. Handy arm could improve reloading speed, a Mr. Handy eye looking backwards could bost perception.
So we are actually working on Fallout 4 and New Austin at the same time. we will be realeasing a standalone mod that is only the mechanical changes to fallout 4. This will include our new armor sytem! It was actually inspired by the wording in fallout 4, like you pointed out. Good sujections! Thanks!
It's looking so much better! I can't wait for a winterized medic version. Do you guys also plan on making the cloth undersuit with the cargo pockets seen in the past games?
We are planning many diffrent outfits that will give that same look and feeling. There will be plenty of options when you are wanting an exact look. I think the military uniform that you can find on gunners already does this pretty well but I personally really like a more tech wear look. But yes, we will be addind more stuff like that.
Would you by any chance add specific decals like certain military units (101st Airborne, 10th Division, etc) to the armors or would you allow a custom resource for more of a DIY stance at the downloader's pleasure? I'm on console so apologies if this sounds weird or out of touch.
We did plan to have all the brother hood ranks and a generic military decal but we hadnt thought about putting specific military units. Mostly because I wouldnt have any idea where to satrt with those lol. I can defiently ask the team and see what we can do though.
Yeah that's to be expected. We are still working on assets so a lot of our world space is blacking out rather than building the spaces. For level designers we are looking for people to go in and flesh out the world and create dungeons but we just aren't at that point yet. I'll keep an eye for your name and see if we can get you something to do though! Thank you for offering the help! It's needed lol
i like the paint jobs, im not a fan on the armor, the combat armor from vanilla fallout 4 i like much better i would not even think to replace with this model, only part i like is the masked helmet, good luck with the mod
I don't want to be rude but I think the new appearance is way too shiny and has less detail than the original version. It doesn't look as real or 200 years worn down anymore. :/
No I agree. It's not meant to really look 200 years old but I do think it needs to be more "worn". These aren't the final textures though. We are currently working on replacing them.

I am all for more faction skins, will make sure to follow the mod page, always nice to have more customization options.
Thank you! We cany wait to keep expanding this!

Has there been any progress with the locations in New Austin?
Yes of course. We are always working on the map but We haven't gotten to a point where we want to show it off just yet. We are hard at work though 💪💪
@mobiusmodding I tried to sign up for level design but havent heard back yet??

This armor comes from fallout 3 and also doesn't replace the fallout 4 armor.
