Okay. This is very well played. Did "...and Justice for All" have that thin of a guitar tone?? This sounds so thick and chewy, and it's delicious ear food.

Since the drum and bass tones for Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets sound exactly the same, you should do some crossovers for those albums if you are only rerecording the rhythm guitar. Those would sound the most realistic.

They are a lot diffrent especialy the bass master of puppets bass sounds a lot more chunky with more gain and chorus
Ride the lightning sounds more funky and reverbed

The drums throws it off though. These sound really Justice. Especially the bass. It diminishes how good the R.T.L. guitars sound here.

The "Ride the Lightning" production on this track draws me into Joe Bonham's nightmare. His youth was sacrificed for democracy and he is being punished for the sins of the kings of the world.
This looks like Dante's Hell had he witnessed the Great War.

A good way to get a ride the lightning tone is turn your gain down a lot and use a boss-ds1 distortion pedal and turn the distortion up a lot it give you that sharp twangy distorted tone
Edit: I just got to the solo and he didn’t do a damn Thing to the tone wtf

The sound of this album really does its best to bring this song down. The lack of bass and the really brittle guitar sound always made the “Hold my breath as I wish for death!” parts sound ridiculous to me.
