My theory: Do you remember the scene when the writing from the books disappeared? Well, I'm a fast reader, and from that scene I read 1 word; Lover. Why can Callum connect to the arcaneums? Arvos is Callums father. Rayllium wasn't carried on because they need them to be together for Arvos to not kill them. AND WHEN ARVOS SEES CALLIUM USE THE MAGIC HE BE LIKE "OMG SON" AND ARVOS WAS IMPRISONED BY THE DRAGON KING BECAUSE HE FELL IN LOVE WITH A HUMAN. IF THIS IS CANNON ARVOS IS MY FAV CHARCTER AAAAAAA
I kind of agree with some of these theories, but also Aaravos is trying to take over Zaidia and was probably like this before he was stuck in the mirror. Maybe he tried to take over Zaidia but Thunder found out and stopped him for this was the final straw. He also is about 5000 years old. I don’t know how he could possibly get out of the mirror at the right time to be callum’s father. But this is a world with magic so anything could happen.
This season was simply amazing and I loved it, and there where so many great moments in it. I had hoped we would see a few more magical creatures and dragons and Zedia in general but I think the hole season was affected by the 9 episodes thing. And speaking of dragons Avizandums death was one of the saddest dragon deaths I have seen and that split second where you hear Sarai's soul screaming NO when Harow tossed the spear as a last minute attempt to warn him made it even worse. And Zubeia is one of the most beautiful dragons I have seen in a TV show, her design is clearly feminine but it also makes her look powerful and someone that should be respected.

Claudia’s expression shows her sentiments throughout the season, torn between her father and brother. Im so sad she chose her father but maybe she’ll swap sides in one of the future seasons. I was not expecting Soren to swap sides but I’m so excited to see where they go with the whole dynamic. I have a theory about the caterpillar; that it may be the way Aaravos escapes from his prison. I would also like to know what Aaravos did to get trapped in the mirror 🤔🤔 All in all I am excited to see where everything goes in the future series and I cant wait for them!!
