The sole reason for Tere Bin to work is only because of Yumna. Same for Parizaad and Bakhtawar. She is the usp of the shows she stars in. She is the one who pulls a huge amount of audience
@@pallavirathi7598 bakhtawar is a not good but got high trp for hum tv and plus trending on TH-cam every week .. audience watched bakhtawar due to yumna .

Tere bin: I don't know how much this trope has been used in Pak dramas but this trope has been over over over used in Indian dramas. Same thing two head strong lead characters, poles apart, different thinking, different ideologies, opposite attracts saga, boy being a bit conservative, girl is outgoing, their ideologies clashes, forced into marriage, keeps bantering, falls in love, happy marriage for a moment and then an ex lover of male or female lead comes in the way. There is a dozen of this kind of indian dramas. I stopped watching Indin dramas just because it was this same trope everywhere or family politics and continued watching only k-drama, Turkish dramas, pak dramas, netflix and Amazon. Now I understand why people in comments used to say that pak dramas are turning into Indian dramas. I turned towards pak dramas and now they are also coming with same thing.
Fraud: In addition to what Hassan and Aamna said, one thing that made me fume a little was during Shan's mother's apology tour they completely glossed over the way they treated Zimmel. Both women apologised at length to the adults, completely ignoring the child abuse.
Tere bin is a must watch. The chemistry Murtasim and Meerab have - the clashes. It's a haters to lovers kinda trope. Yes,if you're looking for a fantasy entertainer - this is totally it! Wahaj and Yumna are nailing it ✨ but if you're trying to find something deep and unconventional - then no one's forcing anyone to watch it. In my opinion,I've finally found a favorite commercial drama after long!
Tere Bin: Matriarchal figure is there only to establish patriarchy in the family just like women can be more misogynistic than men. She is like a head jailer in the haveli for the girls. Definitely intriguing, with two strong headed people in the lead. The fact that the girl is not a bechari girl, the boy is not a toxic, is good enough a reason for me to watch.
Murtasim not being toxic in first two episodes was the saving point for me. He definitely was more inclined to let Meerab live how she wants then to trap her. He even said get to married to anyone, rather then taking it on his ego, and say get her married to me. Murtasim was a pleasant surprise
@@teadrinker1260 Yes, I definitely liked that. It would be a clash between two strong , also hot headed people forced in a marriage neither of two want or are prepared for. That would be exciting to watch. And i am so bored of watching the goody good bechari , timid doormats that a little bit of batameezi by the girl won’t be that bad, like the Haseena Moin heriones. People called them batameez too, since they were too progressive and bold. That is why she stopped writing and said in an interview that she decided not to write as her heroine that she wanted to show would not be acceptable in the current intolerant society.
patriarchy doesn't mean oppression or misogyny tho it means rule of father dont understand why south asians using these man made woke western ideologies terms that are flawed lol no wonder we're enslaved minded & its kinda new cool
@@mahnoorqureshi3281 Agreed, finally a girl who is speaking, I'm so done with bechari biwiyan, glad we have a spark in a female lead. Kuch boly gi to sahi 🤣🙌
I was really excited to hear your review on Tere Bin!! Just thought I’d share my review & also my thoughts on some of the comparisons that I’ve read online to dramas like Khaani, KTK, Ishq Hai, Deewangi etc. (Its a bit long haha but I hope Aamna & Hassan have a read, would love your thoughts!) Here’s what I liked: 1. Firstly, I actually really like Murtasim’s character & the way its been written. In just the opening two episodes its been established he isn’t actually your cliche “toxic” male lead that we have seen in the form of Shamsheer & Mir Hadi etc. It has been shown in suttle ways that he has positive traits when he stands up for his farmer & also inquires about the maid’s injuries - that surprised me and I liked it that despite being arrogant & rude, Murtaism has a side to him which is about standing up for his people despite them being from a lower class to him. 2. No “love at first sight” (which has been v common in recent drama’s) and no “hero falling obsessively in love with the female heroine”. Usually if we see a drama like this as (Khaani, KTK, Deewangi) they have all seen the male lead just take one look at the female character and just fall for them and then they obsessively cherish & pursue them. This is what makes them so toxic. But we don’t see that in this plot which I really like! In fact, its quite different - both lead characters come from different backgrounds & traditions and are being forced for different reasons to marry each other. 3. Meerab’s Character - finally not a “dari sehmiwi” larki on our screens but someone who is brave & outspoken and also fiesty! We know for a fact she may accept the marriage but will not tolerate any injustice and will actually not be a typical “bechari” that we see in our shows. That was refreshing to watch! 4. The cast: No doubt Wahaj is my favourite actor and finally seeing him in a lead role is great! But I think hes played Murtasim very well - it was a v powerful performance. Not just his acting - the body language, expressions etc but also the whole wardrobe & appearance. I haven’t seen Wahaj in such a role before so it’s definitely good to see him testing his acting capabilities & trying something different. Wahaj has proven you don’t need to shout & scream at the top of your lungs to show your anger - it can be done in suttle and more reasonable ways! I also think Yumna is a great actress - found her acting a little childish & OTT at the start but really improved when she takes a stand for herself. Also Bushra Ansari, Fazila Qazi, Farhan Ali Agha etc - just great to see them in different roles after some time esp Bushra Ansari! 5. Production value is high & the cinematography is quality which does make it enjoyable to watch! A few things I didn’t like… agree with Aamna on Haya’s character! Sabeena Farooq’s character was highly irritating & unnecessary. The one-sided obsessive love is highly annoying! I ageee on the observations about Yumna’s acting in the first two episodes - hopefully it will improve as it does come across a little out of place & not so natural. Sometimes the slow-mo’s & the exaggerated dramatic effects can come across quite unnecessary but I guess that’s just GEO 😂 so I’m use to it! Overall: I loved the first two episodes, really hooked to see Murtasim & Meerab’s clash & journey which I think will be totally be the highlight of the drama! Intreged by the story & really hope it stays the way its started - powerful pakced with fab performances! Enjoyable & entertaining.
You placed everything on paper rightly. I love that Murtasim wasn't immediately in love with her and vice versa, so we'll see a buildup to the love story. I'm glad he isn't highly toxic but more like raised by mysoginistic household. Fresh for so many reasons. I liked tere bin alot.
You summed it up so well. It's good that murtasim is not that toxic he is irascible but so is meerub. They both are hot headed so it would be an interesting watch for sure also because yumna and wahaj have great chemistry. Also, I liked that for a change murtasim didn't take meerub's badtameezi on his ego and decided "ki ab toh main isi ladki se shadi karunga aur iski zindagi jahannum bana dunga"😂
To be honest Meerub's (Tere bin) birthday party attire didn't look that bad. Aamna said it correctly that it was western made in Hyderabad and I actually liked it. Why can't there be a decent fusion of western and eastern. Why if it's western it has to be those bold bright colors with a bit of skin show and absolutely arbitrary and weird designing. Why can't we add decentness to it and make it look more reasonable. Yumna carried the attire wonderfully, true she is shown an urban girl but also has family values and that was what the dress was depicting. Urban yet desi
I thought it looked bad. Ayesha Omar did western in Habs and did it phenomenally well whilst following the standards of ‘modesty’ expected on tv. She has good sense of styling for it. Yumna’s dress does not look like what an girl would wear in what she’s trying to depict. In fact she wears better western in real life, than the actual drama!
I thought she carried it of well. Most Asian designers can’t do western party looks, take the award ceremonies. She couldn’t wear high wasted jeans for a party and it wouldn’t have suited her.
Usually cant stand geo dramas, but actually liking Tere bin despite the OTT treatment. Yumna is awesome as usual and Wahaj has finally arrived (commercially), and how!
Amna' s entire take on Yumnas carrying Western and Merab's birthdays outfit was superfluous at this point. Period. P.s. She is exactly playing her character. A normal urban girl exactly carries such outfit the same way. #reviewonthehautereview
Yumna is absolutely perfect with her role there was no overacting her character is like this, merab is a little childish with her father and as ma begum said her father makes her stubborn that's why her character is kinda looks annoying when she beat the man in the crowd this thing is comes because her father brought her up like this and most important thing i love about her character is that she's not dari sehmi ladki
Tere bin is definitely entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Wahaj looks the part. It's good that murtasim is not shown to be toxic, he is irascible but so is meerub. They both are hot headed and have similar personality traits so it would be an interesting watch for sure also because yumna and wahaj have great chemistry. I was eagerly waiting to see yumna and wahaj after DNUTN, both are brilliant actors and look good together.
Tere Bin: No. Doubt Yumna is a wonderful actress but she is just overacting alot here, the character is looking ill mannered rather than strong and when she was talking to her father trying to sound innocent duh it was so super irritating. Also I it's very clear that Meerub is Anwar's daughter in one of the teasers where there was nikaah Anwar was the surname used. Ek thi Laila: I feel Saad must be having some connection with Laila also I strongly feel Qais also has something to do with Laila because a character still unmasked still having this much limelight isn't like a usual thing
Fraud: Fraud was all about 'Nisaar sb ki 101 bewaqoofiyan" and domestic politics of shan's family. Only 1st 3 episodes and last 10 minutes of the drama were about actual fraud. They didn't even show any details how Shan approached police, how they created that whole plot of trapping shaji. I so want to know what made Saba Qamar sign this project.
Happy New Year guys! I actually really enjoyed tere bin.I liked the second episode more because of yumna and wahaj's strong characters and their chemistry. The only thing that is gonna hook me to this drama is going to be the romance and chemistry between meerab and murtasim.I hope it doesn't get too OTT because I really want to enjoy a properly executed romance on pakistani TV.
I have to say I loved tere bin even though I don’t usually like such loud dramas but it was really entertaining I didn’t even skip 1 sec of it what I tend to do with these kind of dramas. Wahaj‘s and yumna‘s banter was a treat to watch. I’m just hoping It doesn’t let us down from now on.
Tere bin despite how OTT it was, was a very entertaining watch. I think meerab being raised by waqas has something to do with the enmity the khans have with the maliks. Why did Mahmood aslam's dead brother transfer the land to the khans? Perhaps bhabi begum gave meerub to waqas to keep her safe from the maliks. The teasers show murtasim retrieving meerab from somewhere so I have a feeling that that whole dushmani will play a big part in the story. It'll be very interesting to watch if that's the case and it's not just a fluff story
Wahaj looks absolute fitting for his character! He's carrying it perfectly with his looks, style and demeanor. The good thing is that he's not over-doing it. Absolutely loving him in his Murtasim demeanor
Amna you are the first one from Pakistan that called tassel a tassel not tussle. Good to hear this. It’s annoying to hear people in Pakistan mispronounce it even knowing the meanings of the both words.
now thats what makes tere bin different , when female lead is not shown as damsel in distress and knows to take stand and fight back, then we can tolerate the aggressive male leads also
Tere Bin is great entertainer, thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes Meerab is bit annoying, I find Murtasim a bit more sensible than her . But the equation between both is so interesting and the cinematography , the production value is making it worth watching
Loving every moment of wahaj and yumna presence on screen . With due respect to Amna the girls from Conservative family try to wear westrenwear in same manner as yumna did in birthday their values always comes in way when they want to be modernised so they have to be something bild bhi na lage modren bhi ho
Tere Bin might be one of those larger than life kind of drama where Wahaj’s character is shown to be aggressive but still showed to have a soft side… Interesting drama since they have shown Yumna as a strong character… Those 2 girls are chacha’s daughter….
@@itsfairytale9219 becayse any one would be pissed off from the reletive who are not even blood related but influence every decision of your life because they are elder . Same thing she wants to study and need their approval ahe already express her disliking
I don't understand why tere bin have loud and dramatic background music. It is really annoying. Every 2 min indian style music without any impact full scene.
The film you were talking about Hassan was probably 'Bareilly ki Barfi'. And I love Rajkummar Rao. As for Yumna's look, the one play that I feel she did manage an urban-cool look was Yeh Raha Dil (the one with Ahmed Ali Akbar).
Tere bin is really good. Wahaj has done a fantastic job. He really has established himself. Yumna has yet to impress me but overall a very good character
yes sad ending hr drama m khaani, ishqiya, dewangi, kaisi teri khudgarzi, gul e rana, khuda or mahobbat sb staring m dewana kr dete h or end m dil tod dete h
TLOMJ - The film has been officially released in India in some parts of Delhi and Punjab as it's a Punjabi movie and it's also the first Pakistani movie to be released in India .
Fraud had a good strong story, wish they had not dragged the middle episodes so much, and then give an abrupt end. They showed the frauds in such detail, but closure was for a few minutes at the end. The crux of the story was, “once a cheater always a cheater”. The same goes for toxic men, and domestic abusers.
Absolutely agree with you. So very annoying how they stretch the story endlessly and then suddenly realize “Oh boy! we’re running out of funds? Let’s wrap this baby up with a pretty bow!” I so miss the days of 20-22max episodes, no matter the success it’s getting! Remember Humsafar?
Tere bin will be the drama of the year for sure, what a great start to 2023. Wahaj acting, his body language is totally changed according to murtasim and Yumna zaidi my favorite she is supposed to be a headstrong young girl with a innocent look, she has ability to carry out almost all kinds of roles. Direction and soundtrack is awesome 👍🏻and yes meerub's birthday dress was not that well made but it was not that bad. I didn't just like the glittery touches to the dress otherwise it was a modest western wear style and color looked good on Yumna.
I always think that Yumna have same kind of expressions.Don't know why you guys are always praising her without any reason. The only good actress we have is Saba Qamar but Fraud wasted her talent.
Firstly, Yumna has played urban cool in ye raha Dil & she has nailed it. Secondly, Yumna isn't playing an urban cool in Tere bin becz she is NOT in skin tight tees or skinny jeans. Thirdly, her bday look was perfectly a/c to the situation. Moreoverrr, muratasim is not an urban cool at allll. He's an entirely desi conservative angry young man!
Yeh Raha dil is one of my favorite dramas of all times. The romance in that drama was off the charts. But Yumna was NOT cool. Infact the scenes where she tries too hard to be cool only highlights her paindooness. The first episode of that drama where her laptop stops working was so OTT and wanna be cool ke it was embarrassing to watch her make such a fool out of herself . The thing is 95% of our population is from the village and many other actors and actresses have worked on theme selves before taking on such roles. Take the example of Ayeza or Sajal and recall their earlier days. Their appearance, styling, and even dialogue delivery left a lot to be desired. Sajal in particular is so refined now. You’d think she was born in Clifton and not from north nazimabad. She worked really hard to take on that persona. Yumna needs to contact a good stylist ASAP(she should call Ayeza’s stylist), also a voice coach who can help with pronunciations. She kept mispronouncing simple English words in the drama. That would have worked if she was playing an Urdu medium girl recently exposed to English but she is presumably a girl who attends KGS or a comparable school in Karachi
In tere bin I think haya is chacha's daughter and yumnas younger sister, as they mentioned that yumna is eldest among all daughter but younger than wahaj
Cannot wait for Kuch Ankahi- wish it lives up to its expectations and gets highest ratings, loved that Hassan reminded us of Alif! Wish Geo would experiment with projects like Alif than Tere bin but we could only dream
As an optimist, I decided to watch Tere Bin. I wonder why these characters have poor peripheral vision & what's the point of them colliding w/ each other in slow mo with highly disturbing background music playing. Of course because it's an 8 pm show where all is dreamy. Wahaj's character (Monty?) seems to be speaking while grinding his teeth while we see him surrounded by his photos of hunting/riding a tiger. This must be why all the young females in the show swoon over him. Yumna's world seems like everyone is against her as the pink-frocked fairy princess. All could've been forgiven if Monty hadn't stabbed the birthday cake! Unforgivable! No stabbing cakes Monty, it's ok to threaten/knife the other guy in a jealous fit. 😉 Testament to Wahaj and Yumna's talent that they pulled this off w/ a straight face..would love to see the bloopers. Highly roastable show..requesting the SH team roast this religiously every week, please & thank you. 🙃
Perfect observation Anna 👏🏻about Vidya balan comment, Yumna is exactly like that, she is a fantastic actress but she can not look cool, she needs to work a lot on her modern cool character. This dress including accessories and hairstyle was a big disaster. Surely fashion designer need to work hard to make her modern urban gal and Yumna should work on her body language, overall this character looked very OTT, she needs to tone down. Overall great start of this story, not sure if I like this whole women sitting at home just because they are rich, I mean come on this is 2023, women are going in space, how can they show something like that. Anyway I always have problem with this aspect in pak dramas. Anyway great review, you guys rock, wish you both a very happy new year ❤❤
She did play a urban cool girl in yeh rha Dil . And she looked cool but Amna didn't saw this drama that's why Amna said. Have you watched yeh rha Dil ??
Thoroughly enjoying Tere Bin! The chemistry of Murtasim and Meerab. They're quite similar! -- and there is some mystery to anwar as well ,as to who the mother is of Meerab.
Ufff what a couple I enjoy so much tare bin yumna wahaj they both look so good 👍. I know angry wala look hai but this men stand for poor people he respect the family he doesn't know yumna apni jaga theek hai but soon he will know bohut he zabardast ho ga . Main zarror dehkoon gi
It's a given that we want to see more of Iqra Aziz as Laila but overall the episode was still decent. My prediction is that Laila has something going on with Qais, he is important and its very obvious that Saad is also one of her men.
She looked stunning. Her skin was flawless but that outfit was beyond tacky. OMG it looked like a Halloween costume. I have seen cool urban outfits that don’t reveal any skin in Pakistan and NO cool urban girl would be caught dead in such a paindoo outfit unless they are dressing up as shabbo from north nazimabad who just recently became rich and wants to act cool but doesn’t know how to. Yumna desperately needs a stylist. Gosh her choice in footwear is also so 🤢 someone should introduce her to Ayeza Khans stylist
7th sky is for fantasies n I love how u guys respect ke some people enjoy such genre. Sab ka alag genre hai pasand ka. So loving tere bin ❤ baaki sab ka apna genre. Yumhaj killing it different for both them🔥 Murtasim Meerub ke character baaki “toxic” stories se alag hai making it intriguing. Cake scene was best khaa le😂 again no one’s forcing anyone, this is for commercial and fantasy audience jo aap logon ka genre nhi hai something haute but still respect u guys for giving it a try ❤
Fraud was disappointing to say the least. They saved the climax and accountability for the last episode? Seriously? What's wrong with these writers? Did Saba Qamar not read the full script?
Ek thi Laila is a drama that hooked me these days for sure...great story..best direction...loved the stoy's pace. But yes i agree with Hasan that the last episode was a bit confusing...hope they didn't drag it too much .
Things Tere Bin shouldn't be watched for: depth in the plot, how much sense the conflict between the OTT leads make, a timeless love story, natural performances or topnotch styling. Things There Bin should be watched for: the insane chemistry and animal attraction between Meerub and Murtasim, the nonsensical push and pull between 2 overly strong characters, the will she won't she of it all, the pining and wanting and cursing and falling of the dude and the collective meltdowns of Wahaj fangirls.
Happy New Year Hassan and Aamna! Pinjra is the only drama intriguing me right now, but like all other dramas, it's currently having the filler episode phase to touch 30 episodes. However the last scene kinda foreshadowed a prediction I made some episodes ago that Abaan will find peace in the remand home, away from parental pressure and with a friend that is actually helpful instead of someone like Bilal who misled him. We have not yet seen him get any unfair mistreatment in the remand home but it would be nice to see him start singing or drawing there, because there are provisions of giving vocational trainings to kids in juvenile homes even in Pakistan as far as I know (I am not Pakistani) and many of the handicrafts they make are sold at competent prices to showcase their talent. It would be good to see something like that there.
FINALLY SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT IT!!! Okay imma come back to reading your full comment as I can tell issa spoiler alert for me even though I didn’t read full comment...and go back to watching Pinjra for a bit since I was busy
Rewatched "Alvida" (2015) again on TH-cam, and I'm so surprised how much the quality of our dramas have dropped. Back then the dramas were about, casting on point. You would have never guessed what Zahid Ahmed's character was. Now it's more about, which actors bring more numbers and hashtags. There is not thought process into choosing the leads for dramas, or any suspense in stories. Truly a bad downfall of our drama industry.
True....today i watched daam and realized how much the quality of pak dramas has declined ...ott dramas and cringed stories solely based on love triangles
@@saniyakhan3110 i feel nowadays the makers are money oriented. Even if the stories have potential they ruin it by adding filler episodes or unnecessary scenes to extend the episodes for money which wasn't the case before. Serials like zindagi gulzar hai, daam, dastaan etc had good storyline and episodes were to the point. These serials used to teach us so much about life and the womens were potrayed as strong characters unlike now only saas bahu sagas and so much of domestic abuse in every other drama is so cringe.
@@saniyakhan3110 zee Zindagi ki wajah se viewers bade hai. Makers ne apni quality of story ko importance dena kum ker diyab ye unki mistake hai. Logo ko Acha lagega log tabhi dekhege. Hi Amna, I hope your cataract surgery goes well and recover from it. There are many known complications after surgery so please do take care of yourself and your eyes.
Why the hell everytime Pakistani writers need to show FL annoying, irritating and shouting to prove she is headstrong. Big fan of Yumna but her acting is cringe in Tere bin, the same way I said about Iqra in suno chanda. Good to see that Murtasim as a character is not yelling everytime but he portray anger with expression, with heavy low voice. Why can't be Meerab can show anger with grace, she is looking more ill-mannered girl rather than independent.
Tere bin: typical 7th sky star plus content where hero and heroine are extremely batameez and one farig cousin girl who is after the hero and has nothing to do else and not has any self-respect but still wahaj and yumna are the main attraction so masses will watch it
And they will get married. Will be happy for a bit then farigh cousin will create trouble , eventually she will consider leaving husband for that college aashiq.
It is the media houses that destroy plays by requiring to fill up a certain number of season slots. That is how dramas go off on several tangents and get derailed.
A potential theory for Aik thi laila: Sheryar munawar posted a bts with the cast. What if he’s qaiz (real life majnu was called qaiz aswell) him & laila could be together, and saba and azeem was a way of getting money from that family therefore also make sense why they have shown Faisal’s char so much.
I always wanted Wahaj to do a hot (not toxic) character because of his looks and features and when I saw Tery Bin, I was happy that finally Wahaj is serving but got totally disappointed by the way he is acting that character. Same Look and same expressions throughout. Can't believe he was the same guy who played Roomi .
I think we've heard enough times at SH platform that the Director Siraj Ul Haq wants 8 pm audience to dream and he takes us through fantasy stories convincingly. Yash Chopra movies also used to do similar things like suddenly singing and dancing in Swiss Alps. So that's his style . But this time with Tere Bin , till now he is Bang on while creating that opulence with effectively directing the script. Hope the banter between the two protagonist is likeable and cute and does not get annoying. I am sure there will be softer side for Meerab from Murtasim. It can be adapted from "The Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare.
I don't think Yumna's birthday wardrobe was bad. It reflected her persona. She isn't supposed to fit in the 'modern progressive diva' fantasy. Meerub is a very preachy character, somebody who believes in doing what is right to the point of making it sound annoying. I have witnessed such people around. And they may dress up like meerub for real. Meerub is not meant to look like a perfect high town girl. She was just supposed to look like meerub and she did. Sonya's character from tere bina main nahin fits in that notion very well and she is supposed to look like that. All in all, both wardrobes reveal sth about each character.
Me, I'm also fed up with OTT promotions of OTT drama like Tere Bin. Tere bin is such a crap drama. Not going to waste my time watching this crap drama. Very disappointed.
Sorry bro! From episode 1 2 I still didn’t find anything toxic in Murtasim Murtasim, an angsty yet the protector of his own people, believes in man to man face off also who minds his own business; wrapping under a shade of grey. Has a old well polished ideology & doesn’t want to change it. In Epi didn’t find any toxic trait in him
Meerab wasn't supposed to be urban cool I guess 🤔, like by seeing her wardrobe it's obvious she isn't any urban cool girl🤷♀️ and I guess Haya is also Anwar Chacha's daughter as their conversation indicates towards that....
My mothe in law just got her cataract procedure done there in India ,dr prescribed her specs but she is 60+ ,and the procedure was absolutely as effortless as told by Aamna…
I am done with stories like Tere Bin. It irritates me when I see people being dominated, insulted and being compelled by other to live a constrained life (like Meerab in Haweli). Like Amma Begum's dominance; girls not allowed to go out of house; main leads are fighting like cats and dogs and later start loving each other Please yar. Come out of that StarPlus mode.
Tere Bin: I love Yumna's work but Yumna's styling and makeup needs to be changed. She was looking very pretty in Raaz e Ulfat but her kurtas with pants and wavy hair in this drama are not going well with rest of the cast's styling.
I started watching Tere Bin and couldn't finish the entire episode as i found out it to be too loud for me and the annoying characters especially the girl who is after the protagonist plus these kind of characters have been shown in alot dramas which is monotonous for a viewer like me. It's not my cup of tea so thats why not watching it anymore.
In tere bin, the only saving Grace is yumna's character who is shown to be a strong girl, knows her Mind, can q every no thrown at her. I don't get it why wahaj's character is frowning all the time😄 Moving around with his fragile ego. And please, enough of those slow motion walks, they don't enhance the performances in any way🙄
Now Aamna and me are matching in thoughts - I felt same with Yumna in pink dress- brooch seriously silver shoes😂 the jacket all were pathetic and Yumna urban cool look not cool
Tere bin: Honestly a major let down. Yumna has always been one of my favorites, but recently she has adopted this "cutesy" form of acting that's quite cringy to watch at times. And I agree with Aamna that Yumna is having some difficulties pulling of the modern city girl look. I think more attention should've been given to her styling especially since she's doing a completely different type of character from the usual roles she takes up.
Yumna I agree needs a good stylist and needs to work hard on her act when performing modern characters. Her make up, clothes body language, dialogue delivery, everything needs work when she is playing a modern contemporary affluent girl.
It wasn't modren city girl its just a girl from diffrent household with same values yet has to be in limits of her family value. Has to be bounded by typical conservative family she just try to stand out by being opinionated .thats her dressing complement that look
@@zoaye3280 I agree she is just shown as a headstrong, opinionated city girl but I was not happy with her pink dress as Amna pointed out. It was bad dressing. What I meant was that Yumna is a very good actor but she has to work on her speech, body language, clothing and makeup to give an urban girl look. She is missing that point...she is the main lead, when one is acting in such a glorified OTT drama then the heroine look should match that...an eyecatching quality...
I agree a 100% on Yumna. Everyone is focusing on the pink dress but her two other looks - mom-jeans and long kurta looks with scarf looped around neck were really cheap and old fashioned looking, and not in character with an empowered, idealistic law student. Yumna does struggle to nail some characters without getting preachy or cutesy where other characters she excels in
I felt like Fraud ended so badly. There should’ve been more development of Ahsan’s character and how he was caught. The show lost its charm after a few episodes. We lack sensible & creative writers.
I just saw both the episodes of Tere Bin and that "Suno Chanda on steroids" comment is so spot on! Well done Hassan! 😂👏

Sole reason? You do know Wahaj Ali is in the show too, and he is a big draw to this show for many too.
Sad but true unfortunately
don't worry though, it is mainly the Geo dramas which are OTT , other channels especially Hum is still making normal dramas. :)---mostly.
I don’t watch the Indian soaps but Geo for a very long time has been making star plus copies.

❤

(Its a bit long haha but I hope Aamna & Hassan have a read, would love your thoughts!)
Here’s what I liked:
Also, I liked that for a change murtasim didn't take meerub's badtameezi on his ego and decided "ki ab toh main isi ladki se shadi karunga aur iski zindagi jahannum bana dunga"😂
very well explained that why we love Tere Bin 👏
Good observations! Aashi agree with you as well that for now it’s not the toxic evil male character
You summed it up Soo well!!
I loved Tere Bin and don't have problem with OTT sometimes it's necessary also to evade reality
Agreed. Amna's take was a bit too harsh
Yumna is one of those decent actress
That is why she didnot wear any bold dress
That dress wasnot that bad
I thought it looked bad. Ayesha Omar did western in Habs and did it phenomenally well whilst following the standards of ‘modesty’ expected on tv. She has good sense of styling for it. Yumna’s dress does not look like what an girl would wear in what she’s trying to depict. In fact she wears better western in real life, than the actual drama!
I thought she carried it of well. Most Asian designers can’t do western party looks, take the award ceremonies. She couldn’t wear high wasted jeans for a party and it wouldn’t have suited her.
@@aziza000 I think they blurred out some of Aisha Omar’s clothes in Habs because there was too much skin, I think it was during her return scene.
I agree . Yumna looked pretty in powder pink and Wahaj looked dapper in all Black and that's what matters. Sometimes Fashion can be kept aside.
Exactly.
Spoke my heart...
Very well said 👏 👍 Absolutely ✅️ 💯

Yes
Soo tru
Camera rotation scene in Aik thi Laila made my head spin too..I thought I m the only one getting this..thanks for pointing Aamna
Amna you are the first one from Pakistan that called tassel a tassel not tussle. Good to hear this. It’s annoying to hear people in Pakistan mispronounce it even knowing the meanings of the both words.
Tere bin aamna i m not a fashion person but yumna was looking beautiful in that dress
Half hour review of tere bin? 😱 This definitely is longest record so far !
now thats what makes tere bin different , when female lead is not shown as damsel in distress and knows to take stand and fight back, then we can tolerate the aggressive male leads also
If you watch Tere Bin with the acknowledgment that it’s OTT and crazy, then it’s definitely a very enjoyable feast for the eyes!
But could you please mention that 7th sky needs to stop using the same house! It actually shows lack of good production values.
Yumna has played urban cool in yeh Raha Dil and she was fantastic
No Maryam (Hira Somroo)is Murtasim's sister
Oh plz she is not strong but too badtameez the way she talks with her father n that uncle of hers.

I was seriously dying for tere bin review of amana and Hasan
Tere Bin: Yumna's pink frock will go down in the hall of fame of fashion disasters in the history of pak dramas 💀
The biggest flaw our dramas have is that they don’t know how to draw conclusion.
Wish we can put some efforts to draft the ending.
yes sad ending hr drama m khaani, ishqiya, dewangi, kaisi teri khudgarzi, gul e rana, khuda or mahobbat sb staring m dewana kr dete h or end m dil tod dete h
It happens always with the Pakistani dramas mostly, they drag on and on,then end abruptly.disappointing the viewers.
On point as per usual! I felt the same!
@@sarat8577 I don't agree on ye raha Dil part

I agree with Amna regarding Meerab's dress on her birthday. I had the same opinion, that was not a nice look.
Yumna Zaidi is Best actress of Pakistan and queen of action and expression. Wahaj Ali is also Best actor. Yumhaj best couple

It's a given that we want to see more of Iqra Aziz as Laila but overall the episode was still decent. My prediction is that Laila has something going on with Qais, he is important and its very obvious that Saad is also one of her men.
The compromise on lawyer and client confidentiality was insensible when Meerub without being a lawyer discusses.
Yumna looked very pretty in that pink frock! Baseless and unnecessary criticism from the same person again for Yumna!

Fraud was disappointing to say the least. They saved the climax and accountability for the last episode? Seriously? What's wrong with these writers? Did Saba Qamar not read the full script?
No matter how you dissect the Yumna's acting.
What you guys talking about, she looks perfect in urban cool to me?
So far, she gets 10/10 in her role.

Tere bin has the EXACT SAME story as malaal e yaar from hum tv!!

That would be great if they show him finally being able to be himself and not under his parents’ pressure! I really hope your prediction comes true!
i agree!

Tere Bin can be summed up as 'Star Plus ultra pro max'
There is difference between drama writer and a digest writer. Most of these writers are digest writers so these stories are like a digest novel.
And that is why I stopped reading the digests because all the stories seems similar nothing new. That's now apparent in the TV dramas too.
Our dramas makers has started to care about views, hype and competition that's why.
These serials used to teach us so much about life and the womens were potrayed as strong characters unlike now only saas bahu sagas and so much of domestic abuse in every other drama is so cringe.

such a nice review about "Tere Bin " ab to dekhna hi pare ga
Tere bin, i thought it was me who didn’t like yumna in her weird pink dress lol it was so bad. I am glad Amna mentioned it.
Tere bin: typical 7th sky star plus content where hero and heroine are extremely batameez and one farig cousin girl who is after the hero and has nothing to do else and not has any self-respect but still wahaj and yumna are the main attraction so masses will watch it
Yes typical formula for a toxic drama.
Well said.
And they will get married. Will be happy for a bit then farigh cousin will create trouble , eventually she will consider leaving husband for that college aashiq.
@@sarat8577 no no that farig cousin will make murtasim doubting on meerub with her college friend.. 😆
It is the media houses that destroy plays by requiring to fill up a certain number of season slots. That is how dramas go off on several tangents and get derailed.
But if the writer and director know how many slots need to be filled, then they should write the story and execute accordingly.
Great theory!!👍🏽👍🏽
The writer is Nooran with n is silent. She is the sister of Aliya makhdoom, writer of Habs.
Haya is younger daughter of Anwar
Who else is fed up of Geo's promotional over drive for Tere Bin? Khuda ka wasta bas kardo Kadwani Bhai 😂🙏🏻
Me, I'm also fed up with OTT promotions of OTT drama like Tere Bin. Tere bin is such a crap drama. Not going to waste my time watching this crap drama. Very disappointed.
Can we pls talk about the animated walk of Wahaj and Yumna?? It looks so fake and animated.
Fraud drama was the king of anticlimaxes. Having said that, it still deserves appreciation for an out of the box premise.
Sorry bro! From episode 1 2 I still didn’t find anything toxic in Murtasim
Murtasim, an angsty yet the protector of his own people, believes in man to man face off also who minds his own business; wrapping under a shade of grey. Has a old well polished ideology & doesn’t want to change it. In Epi didn’t find any toxic trait in him
Tere bin is definitely worth watching❤ yumna & wahaj💕🔥 their electrifying chemistry
Okay , I get that Wahaj and Yumna look fabulous on screen but Yumna's character is annoying and overconfident. I am not impressed by the story.
Its just the beginning, her character will slightly change in teh coming epusodes as the story will get more intense
@@ostmusic9586 Maybe. But I am talking about first 2 episodes
Meerab wasn't supposed to be urban cool I guess 🤔, like by seeing her wardrobe it's obvious she isn't any urban cool girl🤷♀️ and I guess Haya is also Anwar Chacha's daughter as their conversation indicates towards that....
No haya is murtasim's khala ki beti
Amna is hundred percent right about yumnas dress
My mothe in law just got her cataract procedure done there in India ,dr prescribed her specs but she is 60+ ,and the procedure was absolutely as effortless as told by Aamna…
I am done with stories like Tere Bin. It irritates me when I see people being dominated, insulted and being compelled by other to live a constrained life (like Meerab in Haweli). Like Amma Begum's dominance; girls not allowed to go out of house; main leads are fighting like cats and dogs and later start loving each other
Please yar. Come out of that StarPlus mode.
Same, it’s gone boring. It’s been done to death!
Enjoying tery bin because wahaj and yumna chemistry it hit like fire
Tere bin wrapped in a single line : battamij sirfira with a battamij sirfiri in a battamij family.. Totally enjoyable 😂😂
Tere Bin is superb start. Treat for the New Year
Is this possible in this world and in my life that you interview wahaj once...
Tere Bin: I love Yumna's work but Yumna's styling and makeup needs to be changed. She was looking very pretty in Raaz e Ulfat but her kurtas with pants and wavy hair in this drama are not going well with rest of the cast's styling.
Tere bin is my favorite drama! Wahaj and Yumna ✨✨✨
Agree with you. Yumna goes OTT when she has to play really girly cutesy roles. She just doesn’t know how to act like that
Yumna I agree needs a good stylist and needs to work hard on her act when performing modern characters.
