He should've pointed out that it was half his since he paid half of it, then stated, "I'm taking my half out for this week by doing my full loads today." =)
Assuming there is one around lol. I couldn't tell you where my nearest one is or how I'd get to it in the middle of the countryside. Whenever our washing machine breaks we have to go to a neighbour's to borrow theirs, and they can live a mile or two away, and I can't just walk on the road to get to theirs.
I'll agree. While laundromats can cost money and can be inconvenient, OP wouldn't be under anyone else's control. Dad sounds emotionally abusive, probably avoid the home, let mom know OP would see HER but sans dad unless dad behaves. Dad stops behaving, OP leaves. Take control away from dad.
The laundry story has one more item of note: each load of laundry uses a minimum of 20 gallons of water. Multiply that by all the individual loads OP did. That's going to be a HUGE addition to his father's water bill.
Yeah but Dude. Laundromat. Less stress. Only have to buy pizza if you want to. Balanced off against a control freak, blaming Dad, and a usually peaceful time at a laundromat. Also laundromats can wash and dry larger items than home washers/dryers. A no brainer. Avoid Bubonic Dad and live stress free. Stop feeding the monster. Stop being a victim. 7:45
The last story; I can understand the woman not thinking that was her order, she saw a pie she didnt order and figured they screwed up again. Her not letting the worker explain was inexcusable.
I used to help a friend who sold stuff on ebay. Almost everything we sent out was a horrible Frankenstein mess of taped together boxes, because it was almost all weirdly sized stuff that wouldn't fit in any standard box.
"I don't feel like being treated like the red headed step child" is that actually a saying? My dad says "I'll beat you like a red headed step child" all the time. I thought it was just him?! 🤯🤯
That Dad needed to get a life. I don't understand how a father could treat their child like that. Since she had kids, this is affecting his relationship with his grandchild too. This is sad especially since she paid half on the washer and dryer herself. That Dad needs psychiatric help
It is a solution. In a good size laundromat, you can use multiple washers simultaneously (which take larger loads than household washers) and then put the multiple loads into one dryer (they have wonderful dryers at laundromats). You end up spending less time washing your clothes (including travel time to the laundromat but OP travels now to father and mother's house anyway).
The story about the washing makes me ask one question. Who in their right mind pays $1,200 for a freakin' washing machine?!?! I can get a basic top load washing machine for under $500, under $400 if on sale. I guess if you buy a front load machine with all the electronic carp controls, but WTF do you need all that electronic stuff for? You need hot, war, old selection, a choice of load size, and an on-off control with setting for type of laundry. All that extra electronic stuff is just expensive stuff that can break (and it will). $1,200 ?!?! I can get a washer, dryer and still have a few hundred left over.
Your voice is so relaxing. It says a lot since you’re reading awful people’s words. I think you could read a phone book and still make it enjoyable. Haha. Thanks for the great entertainment and making me feel chill. 😴💆🏻♀️🧖🏻♀️
I don't think I'm a Karen. I worked the McDs DT for 10yrs. Started when we were still using wax pens and a wipe off board. There are more people working with more things mechanized and we got food out twice as fast as they do today. I don't think I'm a Karen about having to wait 10mins when they said my fries weren't ready yet. Did they have to peel the potatoes?
No, he specifically said: "For my listeners" - if we're watching the video, then he showed us the picture, but some people listen to this in the background - while working, jogging, working out, etc. Literally, I've seen comments of how people listen to these while jogging. No joke.
Anthonyk747 I dunno how you download a YT video to a phone but I assume that's how they do it so they can listen to videos without wifi. Not like you have enough credit for a video when on signal mode without shelling out lots of money from personal experience. (My regular credit can last two years from how little I use it, even if I'm playing games on signal while out waiting for food, but if I put YT on there it goes in a minute.)
@@Roadent1241/videos Credit, like prepaid SIM? You know that people (in other parts of the world) have plenty data on subscription to accommodate for this. For instance, I have 10 GB a month, but for a bit more I'd have unlimited... I'm not worried about watching videos at all.
@@break1146 I barely know how phones and credit/data works. I just understand that the first time I tried using a phone that could use run YT on signal I ran my credit out in five minutes. I don't know how much credit/data 25 quid every two years gets me but if I try using YT on signal it just goes compared to just IMing people. So I assume people are paying lots so that it doesn't drain (and live where there's signal between home and the town they're going to) in a tenth of the journey. Better to just download the video and stuff so that you can just listen to it in the multiple 5-10 minute bubbles you have no signal between A and B? Unless you have much bigger signal bubbles than we do.
