We have had this premier fence for our chickens for about six months and love it! It is very easy to move and sturdy too. Love that your family have barred rock chickens, we do too.

I like that it has the solar option, as we start adding structures and fencing to our homestead we want to incorporate solar as often as possible. Great video!!
We love our premier1 fence. We got the same one with the solar setup. You'll only get shocked if you touch the parts of the fence where the colors twist. Plain white lines won't shock you.
You'll love this for your chickens! If you wind up wanting to add on in the future, keep it tucked in your mind that Premier 1 only has one sale a year and that's 10% off netting and netting kits, during a one week period in January. I know y'all try to be frugal like us, and would appreciate that tid bit, haha. I have the regular fence and Plus. Plus will be all I purchase from now on (the posts being closer together matters sooooo much, when it comes to sagging and stability!). I use two Solar Intellishock 60s & also have one similar to yours, an Intellishock 20. The wired one is seriously a jolt when you forget what an electric fence is and grab onto it real good, lol. Ps, your barred rocks are gorgeous and you're giving me serious chick fever, which there is no logical need for.
Wow, that fence goes up much nicer on flat land. We had a heck of a time making sure the fence didn't sag onto itself across uneven ground.
