- Pro r/c glider pilot Paul Naton of Radio Carbon Art Productions flies his Euphoria F5J glider and shares some thermal soaring tips as the glider flies with onboard cameras. To learn more about learning how to thermal soar r/c gliders, buy Paul's new video, the Thermal Soaring Master Class as a Digital download: www.radiocarbon...
The cameras show the importance of flying smooth with a consistent minimal bank angle and steady speed control set with elevator trim. You can see how little the flight controls need to move while circling in lift and how the plane flies differently in lift and sink.

I have the video and I'm loving it. Thanks Paul, these videos are gold to lone pilots like me.
Bravo Paul,
Very beautiful and explicit Video. Thus, Paypal payement!!! And I downloaded the files of the "Thermal Soaring Master Class".
That was very nice, I'm mostly a slope soaring enthusiast but enjoy Thermals on occasion. Haven't seen but this one vid from you but I appreciate your Correctness. Our clubs thermal activities are with a winch and are mostly with old school wooden Elevator/Rudder Sailplanes. Sailplanes are very difficult to teach and explain to powered pilots, seems the more sure of themselves they are the uglier the ensuing crash "is". Glad to see somebody explaining so well but you've really got to get rid of that ugly motor lol. Seriously though, I like your style and am now just noticing that I've previously subscribed Hmm. Cheers! Robert Shaver
