The lyrics of this song is amazing! The live version always sounds kinda weird but if you want you can listen to a studio version and it's that much better in it. The emotions really come through that! Loved this song since my school days!
Agnik Halder well I think that was more a rehearsal version than a live version. I've seen bring me the horizon a few years ago and the sound was way more smooth and similar to the album version.
(might be because they use half paybacks even of the main vocals)
The problem with this song is that Oli cant sing it correctly in the past Jona needed to help him to sing the most of the lyrics ....thats the reason why this song is never on their setlist.

I'll never forget the night Chris Cornell took his life...I had SO much liquor that night. And it wasn't a nice drunk...there was tension, anger, and frustration... I remember thinking to myself that night; "This night feels off, it just doesn't seem right...something negative is happening/happened in the world" The following morning...i found out Chris took his own life. 💔
It really stuck out to me...at the end of the day, we need to lay out heads to rest. Tomorrow has so much to offer. I pray for those who dont have the desire for tomorrow. Please please look forward to it!!! Music keeps me alive. 🙌

No, we needed the lyric video :c the live version will never be as good. He is notorious for his sound which resulted in destroying his voice. He's had multiple vocal surgeries because of it. That's why his clean vocals sound weird in this video. Recorded version is best for metalcore in general. The stamina it takes to complete one of these songs and make it sound good is really crazy. SONG REQUEST: Don't Go by Bring Me The Horizon. You may scratch your head.
Capten He wrecked his voice thru shitty technique. It isn't even a stamina thing. He used to have utterly dreadful vocal technique. It's been the downfall of a lot of people who assume harsh vocals don't require proper technique or training etc.
I agree he would get lazy and throw the technique out of the window. But with the stamina thing I was referring to the parts by which he had an abrupt stop to take a breath or didn't sing the portion at all. With the tempo that the song is going at, its pretty hard if not impossible to sing as if it were the recording which can be recorded in segments.
Ah fair, its one of those things that you pick up with breathing management etc. People are capable of mad things vocally when they thoroughly understand their body etc.

The members of bmth have personally dealt with suicide of the one's they love too, their sophomore album "Suicide season" deals quite heavily with the subject of a friend they once knew who committed suicide, and the singer oli sykes himself has struggled with depression most of his life, He would definitely relate to your story connected to the song vin.

You're review of this song really hit me. It's crazy coz I just mentioned in the debate the other day that someone very close to me committed suicide. I know all too well what it's like to be on the surviving end of this. I've never heard this song but it's some really deep stuff. Thank you for sharing vin. This stuffs always hard to talk about. Those "coincidences," etc is your intuition and the universe talking to you. Oli, the singer, had been addicted to Ketamine and had gotten really depressed. He got to a point where he didn't want to live. A lot of their music has dealt with these topics. It's been cool to experience the evolution of their music and of their lives in general. To see Oli get through his addiction, learn about having ADHD and how to treat it, and get through a nasty divorce to find happiness has been really cool. They've always been true to who they are and what they go through and I respect them so much. Their music has helped me a LOT and therefor means a helluva lot to me too. You should definitely check out more. I just got "Can You Feel My Heart" and an anatomical heart tattooed on my ribs.

I did this, I kept losing relationships and friends and just made up my mind to take the time to find out what it was that I liked. The idea was to be completely self-reliant. I surrounded myself with hobbies and things I enjoyed to the point that I never get bored. I have had times where I have allowed people in, but most of my friends are work friends and I have no social life outside of that and church. When I found out I had cancer, I actually lost some friends that did not know how to deal with it. So i'm kind of back at the same spot after letting people in again. So I understand that concept. You just want to protect yourself from being hurt by surrounding yourself with distractions.
Now knowing Vin's experience with that tragic turn of events, (I'm sincerely sorry, Vin. I can't imagine your pain) I think the song suicide season by this band might hold a deep meaning to it for you, not to mention the song itself is very good. I'd love to see you two react to it!

I'm sorry about what you went through Vin, that's crazy and I can't imagine how that must have felt. I'm interested to see what you two have to say about King 810's song "Alpha and Omega". It used a lot of religious imagery and metapohor and I'm curious of your all's interpretation of it.

I was just talking to a coworker today about how music has such a strong influence of the mind. You can listen to a song during a difficult time in life, or a beautiful time in life.....and years and years later, that song may come on, and IMMEDIATELY your mind relates that song to whatever that event may have been. Crazy stuff. I’m sorry to hear about the memory that this song brings back Vin. I agree with Sori, I’m surprised you were able to sit through it all over again while on camera and all that went into this video.
seeing vins reaction during the song, I was already typing my reply of some other songs i think are much better by this band (as a chance of redemption for one of my favorite bands) but after hearing what happened, damn just speechless. To set the record straighter...there is no definitive evidence Oli wrecked his voice or anything like that. He had laryngitis in 2016 and it seems that's when the rumors started. His singing and vocal change had to do with his kicking his drug addiction and not wanting to scream anymore. This was leading into the sempiternal album.

I had always known about this band but wasn’t AWARE of the power this band has until I saw them live & as you can imagine that’s a pretty insane experience to hear their best songs live for the first time.

Bring Me The Horizon has really progressed over the years. I remember seeing an album cover for their first album and thought it looks and didn't pay attention after. I looked up the band on Spotify and saw that first album and I was like... "that's them?!" lol The 1st album was "eeehh"... but around the 3 album they started to get better and better. Recent album, "That's The Spirit", is just fantastic. Such a great album and worth checking out.

You guys have to listen to Apocalypse Orchestra. It’s symphonic metal which you guys haven’t done yet and is a very cool sub part of the genre. Garden of earthly delights is a good song.
