Hi Emma! Im also a nursing student at Mason and it’s crazy how I stumbled on your vlog, such a small world we live in!! I just want to say good luck with your semester and even beyond I know you’ll do amazing! ❤️ We’re all in this together 🫶🏻
Great video! I am an LPN to BSN student and I just completed health assessment last semester, I have a whole bunch of study material if you would like it. Anyone else on here let me know and I will get it to you! Keep your head up you got this!
I have POTS and tend to feel like passing out after standing for so long or even sitting my heart beat can be very irregular, is that similar to what you have? I’m nervous to get into any type of nursing due to this condition ❤loved your video and congrats!! 🥳
I'm not 100% sure what I have, but I've been told it could be POTS. My syncopal episodes are only ever caused by a trigger like blood or seeing wounds/traumatic stuff. I've done lots of research on vasovagal syncope, and it is pretty spot on! and thank you so much♥
@@emmagrace0413I struggle with syncope episodes too and I have the past two years needed blood work done every 6-8 weeks and just faced my “fear” of needles and blood (not sure which one triggered me). I am now going to start looking at the needle until I don’t pass out 😂
what I do that really helps is study the powerpoints that the prof makes, and I skim the textbook chapter (for that section) along with it to emphasize the info in my head! then i take a practice quiz on that section to make sure I registered everything :) you got this!
