Although we've had a mild winter, it's been rainy and cold and windy, and our last frost date is still over a month away. Watching your family around the fire in your shirtsleeves with the frogs peeping in the dusky twilight brings me hope that this lackluster winter will soon pass for us, too. Can't wait to use our own fire pit and keep the family close!!

I remember the day you had all the homesteaders there and told them and us of your dreams about having a fire pit to set around, and cook. Your dreams are starting to show! I am so happy for you. The kids are surely going to have great memories here! Also looking down at your garden and trees, and how happy you were that day. Even when it was just a dream.

I am constantly amazed by Ben's knowledge and abilities. I don't have any idea what he's doing sometimes, like the pipe work. But he sure knows! Meg, be sure to video your skills too, maybe when you're preserving food. You both are a wealth of knowledge. On another note...those boys' feet must be like leather to walk on all those different surfaces! Sure saves on shoes and boots, doesn't it?!

I think half of the worlds problems could be solved sitting around a camp fire,so relaxing so peaceful.I used to camp a lot I miss it.Getting close to family right now, away from all the fear,panic especially if you have children,just reassure them that its going to be alright.Its about community to,helping each other through it.

After I started watching you guys travel to find you homestead, them meeting your family in Santa Rosa last year and spending time with you. Now watching you videos make me think these are some great people to know. Ben I know you are my son’s age but I wish you could of talk to me when I was your age. We are building our dream place and to know like you guys we can share it with other here. Love every time a new video is post, and Meg love it that you can set around the fire knitting. My son and I are very lucky during this time. Nothing has really changed much for us. He works for an essential industry and I am retired. Since he works nights and I can no longer drive I am at home all the time anyway. Saturday is our day to run around shopping. So except for the limited items at the grocers nothing is much different for us. The main thing I worry about is him catching the flu. I am not worried about myself, I have never had the flu even when friends and family was catching it all around me. Since I turned 64 ten years ago my doctors insist I get the shot every year. Maybe it will help the flu be milder if I do catch this version. CONGRADULATIONS on your announcement. Praying you have a real easy time of it.

I think it is so amazing what y'all are doing with your property. I've been a sub since y'all started on this property. Love seeing the progress and the great craftsmanship that y'all do. Hope all is blessed and everything turns out even better than y'all Invisioned. I also think it's so awesome to see how the pipes are threaded. I'm very ignorant to how most metal is cut/ crafted and would love to see more especially when it comes to knives. I also love the candle business y'all have and would love to see more in depth videos on how everything is done. Thank you for the amazing content!

That is so smart of you to give yourself the option of a different fuel source! You never know when you need to switch from some kind of shortage or price gouge going on! Really a good idea in these uncertain times! Plus, you can get a better price on water heaters with different fuel sources. Really cool to see you doing this!
