This was the best explanation I have heard. I get the tingling burning, shooting and I am sure it is Scalene. I will continue to work on trigger point release. Thank you.

This and the Latissimus Doris videos are very helpful and educational and both seem to assist me in understanding where my pain may be coming from - thanks.

Do you have a follow on video to help release trigger points in the scalenes. I have pain in all the areas that you showed in red. When I would try to find and work the trigger spots on my upper arm muscles, my chest and shoulder, the pain continues. The pain gets so bad that I can’t ignore it. Thanks for this video and let me know if there is an add on to release the scalenes.

      Hi Bandana,
Please be aware, pain can come from a number of sources, it may not be a case of just "fixing" in some cases self treatment can help, but it is usually part of a well considered regime utilising various elements in the treatment including, Trigger point therapy, addressing underlying joint and neural problems. You really need to have this looked at by a professional who can then advise you on which direction or directions to take.

Is it possible to have Scalene trigger point that manifests as pain along the forearm but skipping the upper arm? All the tests for Extensor Digitorum and Extensor Carpi Ulnaris failed to induce any pain.

It hurts where my collarbone meets my sternum when I raise my arm but I have the same pain pattern as you show in this video. What does that mean?
