Hi Femke, thanks for adding the portuguese subtitles. They're great!

Hey Femke, i'm here to thank you about the pt-br subtitles. There's a lot of Brazilians studying and trying to change their careers to UX, and your content is extremely useful for the community. I hope you keep adding the subtitles and would love to share your videos to some colleagues that don't understand english yet.

Honestly, this is my least favorite part of being a product designer. I don’t mind working with engineers to figure out technical constraints, but getting micromanaged by PMs, spending hours in meetings with the business team trying to advocate for why your design positively impacts the product in the long term even though it may sacrifice a minimal amount of revenue in the short term, and getting approval from three different teams on one small detail of the design is exhausting. Maybe I’m just not skilled enough at communicating effectively and being persuasive, but the burden of making sure stakeholders are on board with designs really makes me question if design was the right career path for me.

I hear you, it can be difficult at times especially depending no your relationship with your PM. I do find that this becomes easier to navigate as you become more seasoned in your career and build strong relationships with your PM and colleagues. Will admit it is not always smooth sailing tho.

Great model. You are absolutely right with the problems later on without the right people defined/discovered. Good video Fem.
