After making Chinese buttons, this video tempted me. I just used cheapo gift-wrapping cord and had fun following this tutorial. Right away, I hung it on my little citron tree to go with the little lucky lantern charm it already has, hahah. Thanks again :D

I like that you tell us how much cord to use, which is really important. Many of the videos don't tell you how much cord you need. Thank you.

I've made these many years, but this is much easier than directions in knot book I used and it produces the identical knot.

Easy way is to use small rubber bands and tie the bottom ends and the top loop the will let you fold the loops a lot easier!

Use pins to form the loops and hold the strands down. Better than tape because easier to place.
