They have been 'saturated' at bottom depth and as they are living in a modified saturation diving chamber they can do a very controlled linear ascent to surface pressure. I would assume that something like 12 hours or more would be spent at surface pressure before going back to bottom pressure for their 'escape'.

How do they decompress? Is there a blog post that explains the procedure? It takes quite awhile after hanging out at 3-ish ATM, right?
