I never cease to be amazed at how Japanese transport, especially long distance Japanese railways, are so much better than here in the U.K. - I just wish the Japanese rail companies were given complete and direct control of the U.K. railways
Absolutely stunning views of nature and city vistas; the train is very impressive and accommodations for pedestrians on par or better than anywhere else. One sad note are the caged animals living in concrete and the fascination for child-themed vending machines. Japan certainly is a land of contrasts. Thank you for the great video. ❤
That was a beautiful ride I could fall in with the sceneries. Plus the design of the car is lovely. I hope to visit japan to see your beautiful city. Take care
Thank you so much for going through the effort of showing us these in- person! I was excited to see the new elevator rails, but somehow the tenjinkun was even more thrilling to see! Watching that small and sleek lift climb up the slope of stairs, I'm shocked that it isn't some kind of technology sent here from of the future. And thank you for showing us the view at night! Love from the USA!
Great video. I think Nagasaki has more variety of public transport. That lift for uphill residential area is unique. That view on the top of the hill is breathtaking.
Turkish rice.. more like fami-res rice lol Looking forward to next episode, I'm from the Netherlands and I've heard a lot about Huis ten Bosch! At the end of the video, that copy of Amsterdam Central station spooked me, I thought it was the real thing for a sec but if you look closely it doesn't have the intricate statues on the frontface
The combination head/tail lights that change colors are identical to the power light on the router sitting right next to my monitor. Mine uses 3 colors for different stages.
Taro Hakase actually plays the violin, not guitar, and he's been on stage with the beautiful Céline Dion! He's known in Canada for his talent 😊 The sky slope was pretty amazing; Japan is so beautiful!😊
You should try the Mid Level Escalators in Hong Kong for an unusual form of transportation and it's not too far away from Japan,I'd 2 to 3 hours from Tokyo by plane.
Japan's income tax rate is roughly double the rate in the U.S. The population density is almost 10 times more. So if you want to live in a country with 3.5 billion people and pay twice as much income tax, I'm sure the U.S. would be able to provide the same level of public transport.
my question … is it durable during winter when it is cold and snowy outside … is it possible to get warm in the winter and airconditioned in the summer when it is hot outside
2:37 The cruise ship _could be_ the _Resorts World One._ It might have been between its four-night cruise to Naha and Miyakojima (August 23) and the two-night Ishigaki cruise (starting August 27). (Does the geography make sense?)
The anpanman vending machine is cool ! We were on Inasayama last year, and enjoyed the views from the top over Nagasaki very much. But we missed the Slope Care, and therefore also the small zoo and the hungry deer. I however have very dear memories of us feeding the hungry deer in Nara, with cabbage that we had previously prepared and cut. It was fun !
By the way: the meal you had looked okay, but it was definitely not Turkish ! Not at all. Nothing about if was Turkish. But I guess, if it was tasty, its okay. Just a wrong name for it. The soup looked a bit like jogurt rice soup from Türkiye, so that might have been correct, but the rest not.
Pikachu on the tram control handle and the white gloves for correctness, that is adorable.
Thank you for showing us such beautiful pictures of Japan again. Best wishes from Germany.

You are aware that rail tickets in Japan cost about double the price compared to the same distance traveled, right?

And I'd pay gladly. Cause I know Japan Trains are Safe, Clean and on Time, EVERY Time!
I'll second that .
It's beautiful view and unique ride really, thank you guys for sharing this video for us. God bless you both
I loove Japan From Morocco (y) with love
Very cool. I again have infrastructure envy.😊

The upside down train running to Chiba blew my mind. It’s an old idea but done very well the Japanese.
Wow that was spectacular! Nagasaki is a beautiful place! Thank you for showing us. I look forward to the next video 🙏
Ethereal! Stunning design, I like those light-up tree shapes inside
The view whether in daytime or night was truly spectacular. Thank you for sharing 😊
thats really nice👌bravo👌Thank you for sharing! 👏👍🙏
I am from Fukuoka, the same place where the slope car was built, so I am very proud of it! Thanks for introducing me!
This reminds me of Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel, A Pale view of hills.
The moonlight over Nagasaki... "magical" !! ;)

Simply so relaxing and beautiful! Thanks! (From London UK). Pity it's such a long way for me to go ........
Nice Very Cool as always thanks for showing us around Nagasaki and Japan

Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
Hello, very interesting video and showing this new Elevator... Must try it next we are in Japan Have a nice day
Wow, what an incredible view!
Tom Scott already made a video on that.
funicular not elevator.

Amazing and beautiful!

Hi from the us thank you for showing me Japan ❤i whould love to visit Japan
Those are some of the most beautiful rail cars I have ever seen!

A great view of the city and a great dinner!
Turkish? Probably not...
😊 Danke für das Video Thanks for the video 😊
deer eating the crackers reminded me of the vending machine eating your money bill
Nagasaki é incrível! Adorei o vídeo. 😁
That is great scenary good job🎉
Pablo’s’ deer - they hear the machine.😊😊🤣🤣👍🏻
Wow! Very affordable way to spend the day with small children ❤❤
i love japan

To climb Montserrat Hill in Bogota you do it in this transport, it has been working for many years. It doesn't seem so novel
I would love to go on this thank you so much.

One candidate that was running for major in Sao Paulo city gave this idea and all media and “specialists” said he’s crazy!
Japan was thinking beyond
Wow that looks fun ❤❤❤
very goodです!
Wow this is super cool. Very unique! Obrigado por compartilhar ;D
The Ship likely is the Diamond Princess. I worked there a while ago and it regularly stops in Nagasaki.
Diamond Princess wasn't in Nagasaki until 22 August, 2 days after this was filmed. This is Dream formerly Sea Princess.
I think that the new monorail at Deva, Romania is aproach very more by this

U.S. needs to learn from Japan on how our transportation needs to improve drastically.
Agreed. The US isn’t the only country that could learn from Japan.

Not as long as our automotive industries undermine & lobby against public transportation!

No, it's Dream a Chinese cruise ship.
@@roger0929 Is that a cruise ship? I can't find that anywhere. Well, your answer is probably better than mine. (That's what I get for asking ChatGPT.)

As pointed out by another commentator, the cruise ship seems to be the Liberian-flagged "Dream".
