I was not expecting Darkness of the Unknown to fly in and slap me in the face for Shimakaze, though its deplorable that the track doesn't even last half the fight, the song loops just fine so an extension long enough for the fight shoulda been usable
i have come to give you context that specific boshy fight comes from i wanna kill the guy. the fight IS pretty memorable, so i wanna try made a remake of that fight, i think. this game also decided to do a little tribute by making it a segment in dimentio's fight.
" i wanna" games started with the creation of "I wanna be the guy" since the release of the game a community formed and people started making fangames based on the formula of having I wanna in the title and feauring most of the time a character named kid which has a gun and can double jump taken from the I wanna be the guy. The I wanna be the guy game featured precission platforming combined with funny and unfair traps. It was divided into multiple stages each featuring sprites and enemies from other games such as Castlevania, Megaman etc with a random boss at the end of each ones like Mike Tyson, MechaBirdo...People took those ideas and now fangames follow the tropes of having lots of pop culture referrences and random bossfight that feature bullet hell There is a site dedicated to those games called delicious fruit. you can download whichever fangame you want for free and explore them
