Bro I’ll tell you all a story. So basically I had a higher rank than someone in a clan. They joined every server and started to harass me and even mentioned the trainer who took his tryout. I tried to calm the situation down but it was of no use. He was offline for a few days and I thought it was a good thing for me. Until 1 of my friends was still in his dms and asking ‘why u not playing?’ He said “I’m doxxing a certain someone. My friend told me that and I knew it was me. I had been Doxxed a few days after. I reported it to the owner, though it was of no use. I quit the clan and tsb.
and thats a story u shouldnt believe, karma is one the nicest people, he will get any1 banned for doxxing, u just didnt provide proof or this is all a lie, you're just trying to look good in a comment section by ruining other's reputations, truly sad.
I'm really glad Materia pointed out the downsides of TSB comp in the video. It looks like not many people are openly speaking about this, even though I wish he went a little more deep into it. People join clanning expecting it to be the most wonderful and friendliest community ever. For background, I've been in TSB comp for about a year, from summer 2023 to autumn 2024, pretty much since the early days of Valhalla (when it had around 300 members I believe) and when Saints Bonten was still relevant. I was Caporegime/Aesir for many months, and I did participate in a few official 5v5s, even if not that many (i only participated when they asked me to). At first, I had fun. The community was very small at the time and it was so hype during the OG wars. That was when the only techs that were known were pretty much the shove tech and frontdash extend after an uppercut/lethal whirlwind stream/4th garou m1, that's it. Nowadays it's a tech galore with people sometimes gatekeeping the gamebreaking ones if you don't PAY THEM. It's so BORING now. Only those who are at the top get to know the newest most broken thing while the others are left to rot in the abyss with hardly any chance to compete, when that's the whole point of comp. The more the community grew over time, the more it has worsened. Clanning is full of toxicity, people bragging about First to Five scores everywhere (sometimes non-existant ones), people being disingenuous or delusional in official 5v5s and much, much more. The community is also not very beginner-friendly either. To put it simply, if you don't get a high rank at your first tryout, nobody cares about you. Every newcomer I've seen in Valhalla has either not been welcomed properly or has been often given false information by ''active chatters'' just for the funsies. It leaves a bad impression on new people that genuinely want to try out comp. Moderation to keep a friendly competitive environment is also not the best there is, I'm not gonna get much into it but they really have to step it up. Sometimes things are left unnoticed and are often the sparks that ignite the fire causing unnecessary dramas. Speaking about dramas, there were A LOT. From doxxing to nuking discord servers, all of this for TSB CLANS. It's so stupid. I don't really know the context of most since I never really cared about them, let alone ''participate'' in one. I finally quit TSB comp forever around late september/early october because it started getting too annoying. If you've seen the recent Hellius vs Valhalla 5v5 you can see how BORING the gameplay of the players look, but that was already an ongoing thing for MONTHS. Their passiveness stretch out ONE FIGHT for MINUTES. This is also a problem that is rooted from the developer's lack of attention to the core mechanics of the game. Passive playstyles are meta and there is no way to be purely aggressive without being punished. The only way to rush quickly is by frontdashing, but it's a horrible idea since it's very easy to block. They really must consider adding another way to close-quarters other than the frontdash, so that the gameplay doesn't feel so stale and for who gets to land their sidedash first. One extra thing I wanna talk about is the lack of character diversity in official FT5s or 5v5s. As some people know, the only characters that are allowed in comp are Saitama, Garou and sometimes Metal Bat. The others are banned and you might get kicked or striked (i don't know if that's a thing but their bans are severely enforced) for even using them once. It's overly repetitive and disappointing when you can't use Genos or Sonic for example. Comp players argue that it's ''hard'' to fight against them or it's gonna be ''annoying'' when they run. That doesn't even make sense, just get better. Let's say hypothetically that they are allowed, eventually newer ''strategies'' and ''counters'' would develop as players learn each character's strength and weaknesses making the space much more FUN and COMPETITIVE. But that's just my opinion.
I’m sorry but Valhalla is one of the most toxic communities I have ever seen. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone on there who wasn’t racist, rude, always tried to make my experience bad, and they were just bad people.
Ex clan so owner here. I used to be a clan so owner but now clan is dead. So I think it was pretty fun but sometimes kinda annoying but at least I've got ps+, early access and more passes from some kind guys.
i was also in comp, i quit 3 months ago, it took 1 year to get 1 mid ( top30-50 eu), and one thing to look out for is sparring as much as u can, even if its a bad player u need to spar to build more muscle memory, lets say ur 2 high, spar 2 mids, if u can spar 1 lows or 1 mids because u will be open to the different playstyles there is in comp, and in comp you NEED to be passive and u need to adapt to players, so whenever u get caught by a frontdash, next time block, and one mistake i myself did in comp is getting beef w top players, it will get u no where u will just get hated and it will slow ur progress because people wont spar you, and if u can, join a top100 eu ish clan and play clan wars with them as clan wars is the best way to improve as ur constantly fighting, and in valhalla u can join trainings which are like clan wars but the players there are worse a bit if not alot depending on what clan wars u fight in, and after u reach 1 low theres the most important step, get feats as much as u can and keep sparring top eus and 1 highs, try to befriend top eus so u can spar them and learn from them by just fighting them, and u willl eventually reach 1 mid, and when ur 1 mid u can p much spar whoever u want except top5 eu, and top 10 globals, which u dont need to reach 1 high, when ur 1high u just need to no life the game.
The Doxing thing is actually true. I got doxed from my close friend to a clan where I 4-0ed the owner, Then he rage quit before continuing to 5, He is a clan owner of more than 500 members as I remember, He doxed me and the whole clan got blacklisted, I made a mistake tho.... I threatened him That if he doesn't stop doxing me, I will dox him, It was fake I didn't have anything that i could even dox him with , And i would never do such a thing , Just threatened them, But they made a ticket and blacklisted me under "dox threats", Apparently I made a ticket to apeal and got Unblacklisted, After that i quitted clans and comp.
They can’t rank anyone higher than 2 high? First get 2 high rank, get a 1 low tryout! Boom you will be the same rank as an instructor, idk how you get to higher ranks… because I myself don’t indulge in such silliness.
the guys who do tryouts aren't supposed to go all out they go more easy to see how you actually play, also scores don't rly matter that much in tryouts cuz if the host is going easy on you which they should then your prob most likely going to win, scores don't matter that much in tryouts.
1:30 yeah bro top players keep joining my private server and doing absolutely nothing and leaves after 20 seconds. Also talking to them is like talking to a brick wall cuz some of them are just silent asfk
bad idea of selling trainings and spars As a 1 low only 2 bought my training and 1 low is hard to get you are provably 2 mid or high(not expected) to be high but getting 1 low is hard in Valhalla also don't sell yourself people 'll make fun of you selling training when you are not even good

I don’t know what’s worse
people actually paying for tsb training sessions
or
people getting doxxed because they’re in a clan
Lol definitely the doxxing
both, both are bad, but the worse Is the doxxing

Wow,how to make a clan?i just want some of m'y Friends in it.
Dawg i didn't even know people joined clans and have training sessions in tsb i thought they just had friends to play with like me.
This is coming from someone who at one point in the game was just 19k kills away from top 5 global leaderboard
