Road Atlanta 02/26/2023 with Chin Track Days. Session Ends with a Frightening Lap C6 Z06 Not Rain!

- I started the first morning session off on fresh Toyo R888R's setting out to set a new PB. The first two laps were nice, the second lap came up just a little short of my best.
Later in the session I thought that is was misting rain as it had done the evening before while out on track. The moisture ended up not being rain. I found that out instantly at 120 mph when I turned on the wipers!
The camera is mounted on the windshield so the drops look larger in the video than they did from my perspective. Turns out the red Corvette was spraying some fluid. It didn't look like oil. I never got to talk with the driver.
I did get a new Persona Best later in the day! - กีฬา

Lap 6 was pretty strong, esp thru the chicane, you cut almost 7 seconds off that lap and you carried about 10% more speed thru the chicane. nicely done. your a great driver.

you carried even more speed thru on lap 7, with something all over the front glass? rain? oil? yikes.
Why do you have to stay out? Next time when you run into stuff like this, PIT. Don't park on the grass of a hot track. It's not safe for anyone.
Maybe you missed the part where he thought it was light rain and when he hit the wipers his whole windshield clouded over. Kinda hard to pit when you can’t see where you’re going….
@@pdriver870 He has a whole lap and half between getting shit on his windshield and pit. BTW I was driving in that session too. He could've done better. Much better.
