With that said, often "experts" in every field will have opposing opinion. Everyone does not have the same experience with every product. Thank you for mentioning the fragrance. The shade finder wouldn’t give me a match even though I wear 25W in their Skin Feels Good tint - which has a very light scent that I can handle, glowy finish and nice coverage so I will stick to that one. You look beautiful though 🌸

They test stuff to see how it sells then produce more as it grows. I’m so glad you love it!! Can’t wait to review it myself. I can’t use the Makeup forever it was way to matte on me but I love Lisa. Hello! I just picked it up, and have similar skin tones (but lighter). I got matched in the Sephora Store. To my surprise: I was matched to a “C” tone (cool, lol). SO BEAUTIFUL ON! And lasted all day flawlessly. I always constantly seem to match a “peachy” tone… LOVE ❤️! But the colors are deceiving. But beautiful.
Perfume and ALCOHOL! 😩 I think that's what makes it stay and the pores look good. Maybe a special occasion foundation for many. I think it's the 3rd ingredient. You look stunning as always.
Tania curious what shade do you wear in the GA luminous silk, I started tanning and they took our cities Sephora out so I can’t shade match unless I want a 6 hour round trip which is just yeah SUCKS !! I purchased the 5.25 and it’s to light, however I shade matched the 5.25 in this Lancôme and it matched me to the 355 N which looks super dark AHHH Love being tan but this is really hard to match online
I'm normally 210 in lancome and had to go down to 105w and that is even a bit dark. But beautiful finish and wear. I wonder if they changed it because I tried it today and can't smell anything at all. No glow for me but natural finish is great. Do you still love it?

I have not tried that shade! I had a hard time matching myself in this foundation. I think in the beginning I was put off by the scent but honestly.. I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore!

Hey Andrea, send you a lot of love, ( my girl is now 4 years old) but I remember the early days and around that 6 to 9 months mark. These little ones go true a lot, including teething. All these difficult times they need more attention, and it makes it difficult for us too as a parent. But now she is sleeping true the night, thank God... but with every age there is a new learning curve for the child, and they are not always able to explain this, and than they try to get your attention with bad behavior, this is challenging for me right now. But they are also sweethearts, and we will do everything for them. I understand you really well. If it is possible try to have some help from people around you. And take a little time for yourself, try to rest in that time, and try to forget about work and house stuff or laundry. ( I know this is the most difficult, but go to the beauty salon instead or the sauna, or a little walk, a beautysleep on the sofa,...)
It’s a matte formula. Not drying and it comes in amazing colors. What I noticed is that if my lips have a lot of dryness it will cling to that but overall I love them!

Hm, the negative for lancome is the fragrance! They are similar.. the MUFE is a bit more matte. They both last incredible. Do you have oily skin? Or dry?
@@r.c.7779 for what it’s worth, from someone with dry skin and enlarged pores I was very underwhelmed with the new MUFE and returned it. I’ve heard several influencers say it lasts long and it just didn’t on me at all. Significantly breaking down at 4-5 hrs and was not “undetectable” as it claims. It was a thick texture too. The old MUFE didn’t last long on me either though. I’ve had better luck with Lancôme foundations in terms of longevity but I haven’t tried this one.
@@embeth446 I actually have tried a sample of the new MUFE and love it. It looked really smooth and perfecting with a slight radiance. I agree that is feels a little heavier than I like even though overall it’s lightweight, so I want something that is lighter. Definitely going to try a sample of the Lancôme if I can find it

You and I have the exact same hair, only problem for me is that I can't get the front to behave 🙃 The reason you had problems with the TF primer was because the foundation is dimethicone heavy and the primer is water based. I think they clashed 😯 Anyhoooooo, this foundation is definitely not glowy or even luminous. It's a natural matte. I wonder why it says "Glow" on the label? I'm so undecided about it, maybe if they had my shade I might be tempted, but I'm not too interested for now. Here's a thought - I wonder if this foundation could be used in the pore area and an actual glowy foundation for the rest of the face?? I got a sample, but colors were very dark for me. I swatched the colors on my hand and noticed that the finish was beautiful. What worries me though is the third ingredient is denatured alcohol. How can that be good for your skin? It’s too bad it was looking like a beautiful product.
Alcohol is not always bad, it matters what it’s combined with and how it reacts with the other products! Some people are sensitive to alcohol in their products and should avoid it, but many people aren’t. I have dryer skin and alcohol in foundations doesn’t dry me out at all. With that being said everybody should do what they think is best for their skin and if alcohol is something that bothers you maybe skip this foundation. I know hourglass is coming out with a new foundation and it’s alcohol free😍
It looks great on camera shadewise! I won't pick it up (don't need a new foundation anyways) because I can't stand a lingering smell. Besides it may be still harmful for your skin, even if you don't get an immediate reaction.
Yeah I probably wouldn’t use this as my every single day foundation but if I need my make up to look good for the whole day I would probably use this one❤️

Thank you for review. Foundations are so dependent on the user. Fragrance doesn't bother me. For instance, MUFE REBOOT foundation had been my go to for over a year. But, alcohol in foundations in the past has irritated my skin. The foundation looks terrific on you, and I would like to get a sample.
I’m so bummed they put a fragrance in it. I absolutely would have bought it because your skin looks amazing at midnight!!! But fragrance is too much for me. It never bothered me when I was younger but after having kids I think my nose became insanely sensitive😂
In addition to the scent it has alcohol as the 4th ingredient. Not exactly good for skin as Lancome alludes to by calling it a "care" foundation. Thank you for the heads up on its scent!
Alcohol is not that bad in skincare as long as there are other hydrating ingredients to compensate. I have plenty of hydrating sunscreens that have alcohol and don’t feel drying at all, if anything they are greasy and too hydrating. So it depends on the formula. I agree with you on fragrance though

Your skin look nice to begin with. I also do think the shade is too dark for you. I used to be very loyal to almost all Lancome products for the past 15 years until I start to broaden my horizon with many other prestige brand! Lancome foundation problem is they oxidase very quickly. There online shade match app is a total joke. My pale skin tone they match me up with almost your shade range (260-310?) When 110 shade oxidase and gone dark on my skin. (I was talking about the 24 hrs Foundation). Asian prefer brighter, more energized skintone, but I think in recent years the French brand all come up with overall darker shade (Chanel too!) must be the trend.
Well, it can be very hard to match your foundation when you don’t have samples. Also in Lancôme I literally don’t have a perfect shade. I tried all of the ones I am close to and they just don’t have a shade for me.

I do like it a lot!! The color is a bit dark for me since it is winter now, so I have to mix it with something else!
Check the Lancome site. It has a comparison chart for colors. Seems as though this one runs dark compared to their other foundations.
Yeah, I picked up the 240 W based on their recommendation and it was still pretty dark.

Oh no I was going to get the makeup for ever foundation, but now I’m confused! Please tell me which one is better. What are the differences, as in which one lasts better, transfers less, and looks more natural?
Hm, the negative for lancome is the fragrance! They are similar.. the MUFE is a bit more matte. They both last incredible. Do you have oily skin? Or dry?
@@TaniaBWells I have normal skin at the moment that gets oily during summer. But dry during winter. Which one sits better on the skin?
@@r.c.7779 for what it’s worth, from someone with dry skin and enlarged pores I was very underwhelmed with the new MUFE and returned it. I’ve heard several influencers say it lasts long and it just didn’t on me at all. Significantly breaking down at 4-5 hrs and was not “undetectable” as it claims. It was a thick texture too. The old MUFE didn’t last long on me either though. I’ve had better luck with Lancôme foundations in terms of longevity but I haven’t tried this one.
@@embeth446 I actually have tried a sample of the new MUFE and love it. It looked really smooth and perfecting with a slight radiance. I agree that is feels a little heavier than I like even though overall it’s lightweight, so I want something that is lighter. Definitely going to try a sample of the Lancôme if I can find it
@@r.c.7779 yeah wondering if MUFE just doesn’t mesh well with my skin. My Sephora doesn’t give out samples anymore either. 😢 I hate returning and wasting. Good luck with the Lancôme! My personal fave right now is the L’Oréal hyaluronic serum foundation. Very lightweight and lasts ALL day.
It actually has ethanol top in the ingredients list, hence the smell ;)
The colors are weird. I've tried 2 shades but I still can't find a match. I do like it and want to find my shade.
Just bought it and I love it. However color range for warm leaves something to be desired.
It is a terrible color range. I still haven’t found a perfect shade for myself…

I think the prisme has a scent but maybe not as strong as this one.. i need to try them side by side to see which one I like better.. and i need a better color in Lancome! I have ordered the hourglass one!! I’m so excited😍😍

The reason you had problems with the TF primer was because the foundation is dimethicone heavy and the primer is water based. I think they clashed 😯
Anyhoooooo, this foundation is definitely not glowy or even luminous. It's a natural matte. I wonder why it says "Glow" on the label?
I'm so undecided about it, maybe if they had my shade I might be tempted, but I'm not too interested for now.
Here's a thought - I wonder if this foundation could be used in the pore area and an actual glowy foundation for the rest of the face?? You never know Tania, it might work 😉

I got a sample, but colors were very dark for me. I swatched the colors on my hand and noticed that the finish was beautiful. What worries me though is the third ingredient is denatured alcohol. How can that be good for your skin? It’s too bad it was looking like a beautiful product.
Alcohol is not always bad, it matters what it’s combined with and how it reacts with the other products! Some people are sensitive to alcohol in their products and should avoid it, but many people aren’t. I have dryer skin and alcohol in foundations doesn’t dry me out at all. With that being said everybody should do what they think is best for their skin and if alcohol is something that bothers you maybe skip this foundation. I know hourglass is coming out with a new foundation and it’s alcohol free😍

To me this one lasts longer than Lisa Eldridge. Two clues I have: 1. After long hours of wear 2. Wearing it on top of an oilier sunscreen
It looks great on camera shadewise! I won't pick it up (don't need a new foundation anyways) because I can't stand a lingering smell. Besides it may be still harmful for your skin, even if you don't get an immediate reaction.
Yeah I probably wouldn’t use this as my every single day foundation but if I need my make up to look good for the whole day I would probably use this one❤️

Maybe a but. I got a tan right before i recorded this but it takes 8-10 hours to develop, so I would be tab very little.

@@sarag2809 i honestly don’t think the 310 N is my best shade.. i went in store and they didn’t have any of the lighter shades un stock. I find them odd as well.. not sure what shade is my best shade yet

Thank you for review. Foundations are so dependent on the user. Fragrance doesn't bother me. For instance, MUFE REBOOT foundation had been my go to for over a year. But, alcohol in foundations in the past has irritated my skin. The foundation looks terrific on you, and I would like to get a sample.
I have used it about 3 or 4 times since then and I’m absolutely loving it so much. A sample would be helpful to see how your skin reacts to it!
I’m so bummed they put a fragrance in it. I absolutely would have bought it because your skin looks amazing at midnight!!! But fragrance is too much for me. It never bothered me when I was younger but after having kids I think my nose became insanely sensitive😂
It really is a strong floral fragrance too… i would stay far away from this if I were you!!

In addition to the scent it has alcohol as the 4th ingredient. Not exactly good for skin as Lancome alludes to by calling it a "care" foundation. Thank you for the heads up on its scent!
Alcohol is not that bad in skincare as long as there are other hydrating ingredients to compensate. I have plenty of hydrating sunscreens that have alcohol and don’t feel drying at all, if anything they are greasy and too hydrating. So it depends on the formula. I agree with you on fragrance though

Your skin look nice to begin with. I also do think the shade is too dark for you. I used to be very loyal to almost all Lancome products for the past 15 years until I start to broaden my horizon with many other prestige brand! Lancome foundation problem is they oxidase very quickly. There online shade match app is a total joke. My pale skin tone they match me up with almost your shade range (260-310?) When 110 shade oxidase and gone dark on my skin. (I was talking about the 24 hrs Foundation). Asian prefer brighter, more energized skintone, but I think in recent years the French brand all come up with overall darker shade (Chanel too!) must be the trend.
I agree with you!! I felt that all the Lancome shades oxidize quite a lot and they do all pull dark!!

Well, it can be very hard to match your foundation when you don’t have samples. Also in Lancôme I literally don’t have a perfect shade. I tried all of the ones I am close to and they just don’t have a shade for me.
