I think you can see Zsoka that we love what you do, that’s why we come back time and time again for education, inspiration and the pleasure of enjoying you craft. I really love the hexagon card, it reminds me of a stained glass window and the diamond shaped, I think is quite folksy, but I like all three. You are way too hard on yourself. So sorry that you’re still struggling. It’s more difficult to get back on your feet at this time of year helps. The weather is so grey it affects our general state of health in a negative way. I do hope what the warmth and sunshine return your spirits will be lifted and you will grow strong and happy. In the meantime I’m sending you love and prayers and wishing you well ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Love the hex and diamond cards. I had my doubts when you first started, but they turned out beautifully! What a pain in the neck to add all the tiny border pieces on the hex card, but so worth doing. And it’s a great Easter card - the flowered hex shapes are reminiscent of a cross. Good call on adding the four color strips on the card using leftovers. Again, beautiful. I think you should quit being so hard on yourself and stop being so apologetic. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you create something I didn’t like. Keep up with what you’re doing - it all works!

I wanted to say that I think we all have times through our lives when we feel not quite ourselves and struggle just to get out of bed and through the day. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You also went through a pretty traumatic ordeal. So it’s okay. You are a just darling person with incredible talent and I love to watch you turn paper into such beauty!

Zsoka! I have this die set on the way but IF I had not, just seeing your design here - the style you said you didn’t like, would make me want to buy it. The same with the folder (having extra flowers never hurts!!)…
I think we all struggle with coming up with designs and I definitely have my days when I feel down and don’t feel like getting out of bed or stepping foot in my craft room.
You are amazing!!! I absolutely love what you did withtheflowers, the folder and how you added the strips. My brain wouldn’t have thought of either …. NONE of your art and cards are a waste. You’ve gotten yourself a new follower. Which colors did you use on the strips? I think I recognize them but it would be nice to know! Hang in there. YOU ROCK!!!!💕💕💕
Awww thanks so much for your kind words! As for the papers, the yellow is from Bazzill but you could use Spellbinders Saffron, the coral and magenta/purple are from The Stamp Market (but I bought them years ago and I have no idea what their names are). I hope this helps X
I truly think this card is really beautiful, he color is perfect. I would not want to do a batch of these cards, too many tiny pieces, I have dexterity issues. New to the die of the month club. Both cards are gorgeous. Tyfs

First let me say the cards are beautiful. It’s okay to not love every card you make though. Perhaps you are being hard on yourself because you are in a funk. Just know good times will be around the corner. Stay positive, you will get through this!

Thank you so much! 😊 I might be losing my marbles, I thought I'd already answered this? I did have a release in January, I just didn't have time to make any process videos with the products. There's a release video on my company channel. Some new products are coming soon, hopefully early March!
You answered an issue I have-Do I keep the leftover flowers inside the die pocket for future projects? (I’ll need to find the CS used) Or should I add them to a bowl on my desk containing leftover bits and bobs? (Which SB die set are these from, and need to match CS). You’re suggesting that we use them all so that the other issues don’t arise. That makes perfect sense to me, and thank you!
Truly, the only thing that works for me :D I have no space for storing extra die cuts and from experience I know I never use the same color combo with the same die set...
I feel like it isn’t your cards, Zsoka, but the dies themselves that are off. This month’s small die set is a bit…well, stodgy. I’ve watched IDK, somewhere between 6 and 10 videos on February’s SDOM and it’s much of the same.
On top of that the LDOM this time around is derivative. Too similar to a SDOM from last year. Was it December? And there’s the die set in the Four Petal Collection, Spring Reflection? Same concept. Linked greenery background with layered floral details. I do think the pill shaped center and decorative panels could be useful for many card designs. I wonder if all these die sets are from the same designer.
Anyway on first viewing of Yana’s release video, I was excited because I love geometric and floral dies. I also love building patterns. But then I also felt like Spellbinders is being repetitive. I keep signing up and canceling my subscription.
Because I am running out of space for die storage, I forced myself to look at what I already have. I have nesting dies in like 8 different shapes and lots of tiny flowers (mostly from Spellbinders). But I also realized that I have dies that will cut more interesting tiny shapes and better tiny flowers than this month’s. I like the flowers in the paisley die set.
I’m a bit sad about it frankly. I found the club kits to be a great boon during the pandemic. Terrible news, more terrible news, but at least there’s this bright spot to look forward to every month while stuck at home.
I’ve decided to pivot and instead of looking forward to new dies, I’m going to look forward to new inspiration and fresh challenges. I’m having a good time seeing how close I can come to approximating new releases with my stash.
To be clear, I am inspired by your cards. I think you were right that adding in plainer elements in the same shape elevates the card. The spin I’m going to put on it, besides using dies I own already, is I will either heat emboss or dry emboss the shapes without die cut layers. Thank you.
I hope you feel better. I can relate to what you said, because my dad died last year. My beloved dog too. Some days I feel like everything is pointless. On days when I’m not feeling that creative, I do the boring bits of paper crafting like cutting lots of shapes and sorting die cuts or general cleaning and organizing. I will eventually feel more creative joy and I bet you will too.

Of course you don't have to buy new products to achieve similar results! No one can buy new products all the time! Plus I also find that it's easier to be creative with a limited supply! I remember when I took some supplies with me on holiday once, I made designs I never would have thought of otherwise. It's a good challenge! Either way, just enjoy the process, whatever you do! XXX
I echo your criticism on the SB products. The shapes from this kit are very similar to the small shapes collection dies (only the little ornament shape one is different) and SB has cut out so much from their card kit and I’m super sad about APG!! I, too, like using my stash and taking on the challenge of matching a project using what I have. We all face challenges in life (I lost my brother in 2019 and my mother is battling dementia and my basement flooded and so much more!) but we must make the best of what we have and move on.
