Gorgeous makes with this months clubs. Love that you colored the embossing folder! That folder is so unique! Yeah for highly detailed things, I do the same for my eyesight too! No glasses and hold it close. Better than seeing details thru readers

🥰Love those boots... and the flower card is perfect! The one you painted was gorgeous as well. 😍Using packaging for some of your cut pieces was brilliant. I have to remember to watch for things like that so I can use them.
☺That last card... the one that you embossed and then added the yellow (and discarded)... I liked the look of that one. It was really unique. I think if you'd done a bit of colouring on the mushrooms and leaves, it would have looked fabulous. 🤩

Gorgeous cards. I love the watercolor mushroom panel. I too have the zigs and don’t use them but you just inspired me. I had to laugh when you said aging is not a joke. I feel you you my crafty friend. When I get done crafting my neck, shoulders and eyes are sore. 😂
I have a huge buffalo hump :( And I didn't even notice it before it was huge. Crafting is not good for my body - only for my mind :D
Your mushroom harvest 3d embossing folder colors are what make me want that folder. Your coloring is fantastic but I don’t know that I could accomplish such magnificent colors so im nervous to get it lol. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching. =]
I promise I have 0 skills! All the credit goes to the ZIG Clean Color Real Brushes! They are so saturated. You also don’t need to add water if you don’t want. It really is easy. It does take time and patience but that’s all. You can try it on any embossing folders you already have! Happy crafting ❤️

As we age our close-up vision demises and if you worked with computers ( as I did as a pharmacy tech ) computers really kills our vision faster

OMGosh, Zsoka ! You totally short sell yourself in the colouring skills. Like, the mushroom stenciled and watercolour card is beyond beautiful !! I haven't pulled out my Zig pens for eons, but now I might even give it a go. Like you, my eyes are not always co-operating, LOL! I have these big lights that give off too much heat, then I get totally cooking, ha! For sure, ageing is a privilege but also a real pill, ha! LOVED the boots too! 💛🧡💚

I swear the ZIGs are fool proof, I mean, I really have no idea what I'm doing :D I just add color to the left and blend it out to the right, that's all my coloring skills :D

I loved the colors you used. I think the watercolor came out beautifully. I had to laugh a bit because when you talked about holding the work close to your face versus using your eyewear… I do the exact same thing people who don’t wear glasses don’t seem to understand why 😊
Are there even people who need no glasses these days?! Haha! I remember when I was a kid, it was rare that a kid had glasses, I feel like these days there's so many more? I blame computers :( In fact my kid's eye doctor told him that he would need to spend 2 hours outside every day - but I honestly have no idea how to realistically incorporate that into a 15 year-old's daily routine. :(
@@ZsokaMarko I have bad eyesight since I was 6 yrs old but your are right my eyesight gets worse because of the computer work. LOL I take my glasses off to watch your videos so I can see the details better 😁🧐

Thank you so much! The measurements of what? The cards are 3.5x6.5" so you'll have to kind of imagine the sizes based on that. Random thought, the Barcelona chair is my most favorite designer furniture there is! :) I've been to the Barcelona Pavilion several times. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was truly a genius! X

Haha! I wish! The nail polish is more orange. Like I said, I've been looking for that shade for a decade and I keep buying all red/orange/coral shades in the hope I find the right one LOL! I do the same with red lipstick too hahahaha

Thank you so much! Sorry about the late answer, I'm so behind on comments unfortunately :( The foam tapes I have I buy at a local office supply store in Germany, it's their own brand. So I'd check those types of stores if I were you, or Amazon? I only tried decoupage like 25 years ago, but I never used foam tape with that technique? So I'm not sure what product to recommend! There's also thin foam sheets, I think from Crafter's Companion. Hope this helps! X

I'm 45 :( My brain feels 25, my body 80. Terrible. But so glad I'm not alone hahaha!
I’ll be 72 on the 24th. I had noticed for a while that my eyes were getting worse. I got to the point where I could see better with trifocals than I could with my contacts. But I didn’t realize how bad my eyes were until I went to go renew my license I could not pass the eye test! This was during the pandemic, and it took forever before I could get an appointment. because my doctor was only seeing one to two patients a day and they were booked solid. I did need cataract surgery but you’re too young for that. The funniest thing about the whole issue was I couldn’t renew my license, but they didn’t say I couldn’t drive home! Crazy world.
I'm 45 :) My eyes are -5/-6 plus now there's something I need for seeing up close too. Basically multifocal. I haven't heard of trifocal yet! I haven't been able to wear contacts for years, only to run errands or so, but definitely not for long hours and I could only see in the distance with them. Glasses were OK but then the last couple of years I noticed I couldn't see up close with glasses either. Now I have multifocal glasses and contacts as well, but when I paint sth that detailed, I remove my glasses and literally go up close. Like 4 inches close :D God I'm so worried. I'm such a detail oriented person, I'm freaking out that I can't see details anymore. It's so hard when my brain feels so young but my body doesn't want to cooperate! I'm sure you feel the same way, I bet this never changes with age :(
In Germany licences didn't expire before - I think I heard that they are changing that now - but I've had the same license ever since I moved here 18 years ago, and it has no validity date on it. This was always so strange for me because I do believe there should be checks for sure. Not everyone should have a licence. For example, I keep hearing warnings on the radio that there's a driver here and there on the motorway driving in the wrong direction. I literally don't even know how they manage to get on the motorway the wrong way :D

It’s like you have to sacrifice one thing to keep another thing! I see really great in the distance since my cataract surgery but I’m having a hard time seeing close-up. I wear reading glasses like right now because I can’t get a focused read on what I’m doing. I enjoyed reading your reply though. I knew I was having trouble seeing, but it was kind of scary when I looked in the monitor and it was just a blank black screen and shoot, anyway I wish you well.

@@ZsokaMarko my brother who is 74 had Lasix surgery probably 20/25 and did great. I had no problems. I’m very happy with the results. He and my sister-in-law both just recently had cataract surgery and did really really great. Just be sure your doctor has had a lot of experience. I went shopping after my first surgery and lunch with my daughter! I didn’t feel anything, but I was awake. Every step the doctor took, he explain to me what he was doing, I’m telling you it was a breeze! But, I think you’re still too young for cataract.

What do you mean by 20/25 (in your brother’s case)? I believe there’s newer technology than Lasix but it’s more expensive. I’d have to book an appointment to even confirm I can have surgery - not everyone can. But then I just spent thousands of euros on new glasses and contacts, maybe I should wait haha!
My grandma had cataract surgery in her seventies, almost 30 years ago, I’m sure technology was much different then. My mom is now 76, she hasn’t needed one yet.
I guess I’ll have to look into options 😩
