Those KFX's are slow sadly slow. I have raced a few back when my quad was all stock and I was neck and neck. The YFZ and LTR was the one I was never able to beat stock. That was literally right before my TH-cam days started like 2013 I'll have to dig through all my old old footage and see if I can find anything good that I took with my old camera back then.
i gotta built kfx 450r and ive beaten pretty much every other 450 ive raced, but again its built not stock. waiting to race someone with a 700r since i beat a 660
Double D. Racing man great question. The LTR 450 got off the line quicker than my stock Raptor. On the Suzuki it just felt like I couldn't shift fast enough. I'm not sure if it was just a special LTR or what but when I raced other LTR 450 s it just seemed way faster maybe it was bored over I'm not sure. I really enjoy the Raptor it's made for a taller bigger guy since this is Uki I've gained about 30 or 40 lb maybe more so i fit better (now)on the 700. The 700 has a taller gear pattern so I'm not shifting quite as often especially in the trails. Also it has reverse which is a plus for me because I'm lazy LOL. I don't know man it's a tough comparison but if I could get one or the other I probably would choose the Raptor.
RaptorMan awesome good to know man! I’ve had my 2007 Raptor 700r for about 6 years now and I’m actually going to pick up a 2006 LTR450 this weekend so I’m sure I’ll definitely be posting a video drag racing them soon. I always thought your LTR looked pretty crazy fast! But that raptor looks really fast as well!
also going back to the Suzuki 450 it was a DOHC. The 700 is SOHC. if your really not sure what the difference is a DOHC will usually get off the line quicker and rev faster. I wouldn't hold a 450 on WOT for more than a few hundred feet. With the 700 being SOHC you can rev it longer and can hold WOT for days.
That looks like a 400 not a 450r. I don't know if that one is old but my 450r looks different and more sporty. I would never keep mine stock, they should build them up, mines really quick now I got some mods here and there

@@theshlankiebrosmisc3432 lol kfx 450r ans ltr have the exact same engine.....
and the kfx seems more like a 400 than a 450r...
I have a fully modded Kfx 450r and I’m 13 and I’ve gapped people with yfz 450r fully modded
How’s the new raptor run compared to the old 06 LTR?
