What did you hear that was disappointing? I heard about him overcoming his shyness, and leaning on in for that kiss, on her doorstep. He (later in the story) faced a decision that would separate them over opportunities, but threw everything in the air, and followed her. Then what happened? He sings her (their daughter) back to sleep and lays her in her crib. The song tells of all the times, all the chances in life, that he “could have missed her”, and what he would have missed with the wrong choices. How, on earth, was that “not nice”? What ending would have been better then finding, and being happy together? Did I miss something?
@@MuddyCorgi GOT IT! Yes that would have been a nice end. (But my favorite little part of this song is him singing her back to sleep and placing her in her crib. Sort of implied they have already progressed to being a family, with a baby daughter - and how he would have missed her also. A proposal as the end seems a little awkward to the story, and if the daughter were left out, a very clever word play would be missed. I think I would miss her. - lol.)
Yeah I did too but at least they’re together and happy. Austin writes good songs. The trilogy is good. Good reaction Muddy!😍
Austin and Amberly met when she came to a concert as press and interviewed Home Free

It wasn't what I heard... the song and story are AWESOME. Like so many others, I was hoping to hear a proposal at the end. :-)
