I live in Bangkok, Rama 9 condo complex, and N W Montana and Dove Canyon, Orange County, Southern California. This is the perfect vehicle for all three very different environments. My Thai daughter and are are reall car buffs and suggest Ford bring
this vehicle to the United States. The front and rear ends are absolutely perfectly designed. Presently in California driving my
F150 Limited.

We can't compare as we don't have the Explorer here in Australia, however with the Everest here and how capable a 4WD it is, we don't think we need it ! ;-)

Probably not the first to say this, BUT it would be great if there was an option to black out the chrome on the Platinum model. YES, I know this option is seen on the Sport, but it would be a popular option for the top spec IMHO.

Hi Torana, Yes the Platinum comes with a Black Hood Lining, and, on certain colour options, the exterior paint on the roof can be Black for a no cost option.

What about the quality of the plastic and leather materials, are there any sounds in the decorations, and problems with the sensors and gearbox? Ford in recent years has been suffering in terms of quality.

10 speed auto with +/- instead of pedal shift🤔🤔🤔😔😔 what are you thinking? Not so Australians😁 and no LED lights across the EVEREST cover casing at the back. I think if its have a row of LED it's would be showcasing the EVEREST badging even at night. Checking out all the cars from other manufacturers, all their cars either have LED lights at the back and in some case both front and back ie HYUNDAI

The Expedition is a lot bigger than the Everest. The Australian design and engineering that went into this car made it an awesome rig. The diesel engine makes it out of this world to drive.

Garbage…looks good on outside, made in China inside…talking from experience…NEVER NEVER BUY FORD AGAIN…EVER…bought 2018 brand new explorer, 7 seats, power all, leather, nav, 20” rims etc the works…all possible options, BRAND NEW 0 km…the worst worst car I ever had…NEVER FORD AGAIN. There is a reason they say, Found ON Road Dead…that what FORD stands for. To much to go into detail, I’ll give a few and say I sold back to dealer before warranty expired and got rid after 2.5 years. Garbage car with lots of parts original made in China. Don’t believe, research and see where ford is made. Parts too. Mine had on driver side leaking drive shaft front…leaked slow TRANSMISSION fluid…changed 3times at dealer under warranty. Still leacked…both front wheel struts Brocken under 15k 1-1.5 years or so…nav would freeze some time. Window driver would go 1/2 way then come down automatically again, would not go up. Happened at car wash once. Lol. Enough. Car was BRAND NEW FROM DEALER.
Hi Floman, seems you had a bad run with your previous car. You'll be happy to know that the Aussie Designed and Engineered Everest Platinum is out of this world ford design and quality. I hope you have the luck of being able to see one in your country one day. :)
