The yellow lines aren't making you go faster or slower, they just fill up your yellow meter next to your health so you can be ready to jump when you need to because when you use the jump it has to recharge and the yellow line fills it up all the way, same happens with the rocket voltic races which is why the boost lasts longer since it fills back up before it gets drained.
Brock was really good at turning. He hit the speed boost, when straight a bit then turned later (by about a half of a second) so he made the speed last longer.
Oh i miss these days where brock and nogla both annoyed each other on equal grounds like Moo's laugh sounds so real like he enjoy gaming with Nogla here. I think they should come back to GTA 5 and do some of the transform and special races again
