Here, she can't possibly be touching Eugene since he's already away, but notice how she gets pushed by a random into Tyler. She actually saw a vision of Tyler attacking Eugene. That's such a great early hint at the identity of the Hyde. Really great writing.

She has only ever used him. And he has only ever complained about his life and shown little care for anything. Two negatives wouldn't attract, I could get it if he was her polar opposite trying to get her out of her shell, but he's just a less impressive replica of her nonchalant attitude.

This is why I really don't care for the show, not to slight the actors, but the directing and writing is so redundant, the concept for the cinematography was straight up trying to be Kill Bill, everything is black and white to make the red look glorious, but it falls flat, it's just not well done. and the slipping sliding and cheap sound effects just make it worse.

christina ricci set the bar very high with the level of goth and morbid for Wednesday. Jenna ortega didn't come up to the bar, she didn't come up short, and she didn't set it higher. She set her own bar. Love it. Now wednesday on netflix needs to have wednesday time travel to the future and see her older self played by ricci, that way she can come back to the show once again.
This. She made the character her own, doing her own style while still keeping true to the spirit of Wednesday Addams that we've all known and loved over the years. I also love that Ricci got to appear in the show so prominently. I'm always happy to see legacy actors appearing in sequels/reboots whenever possible.
Wednesday's dance is mesmerising. Is it only me or anyone feel the same? I actually like seeing her with Tyler than Xavier. Although Tyler says he was only with Wed for revenge, but i hope they do have a thing for each other.

Bit too similar to what literally happened in the previous episode though. When she/thing blew up the fountain and Wednesday continues playing the cello while people are running away, falling over, screaming and panicking. The Hyde is his sociopathic weird self, it's a split personality of Tyler. His "true self" was most likely his very first scene of the show where he didn't know who she was, which is a standard frustrated teen boy at work.

The Hyde is his sociopathic weird self, it's a split personality of Tyler. His "true self" was most likely his very first scene of the show where he didn't know who she was, which is a standard frustrated teen boy at work.
