St. Jude Cancer Survivor Katherin Takes No Day for Granted

Diagnosed with cancer at 19, Katherin made it through treatment thanks to her family, her faith and St. Jude. In her second year of college, Katherin was found to suffer from a cancerous tumor called an undifferentiated small round cell sarcoma. Katherin’s treatment at St. Jude includes 14 rounds of chemotherapy and two surgeries to remove the tumor.
