Thank you for sharing this video! It helped me make the decision of purchasing the adapter AND I don’t think I could have set it up without it! I wish they had added it to the instructions.
Thanks for the video. Just a thought, this set up assumes the water surface is on the lower chest level. Paddling when ur boat seat at around 1ft below the gunwale.
Not really, it does change the angle of pull though, and that was done intentionally as the inventors feel it gives a better water feel. The reason for this is that the angle of pull changes throughout the stroke like ot does in the water with your blade moving through a arc in the water
You might be able to, but it only takes maybe 20 seconds to take that part off as well, and I think leaving it on would affect rowing technique. You can make the change pretty quickly after ou have done it a couple of times

Thank you so much for this video because it helped tremendously!
I have a Nordic RW500, will this adapter work? If not, do you know which one? Thanks
Can you convert the paddle adapter setup back to a rower without taking off the front mast?

When it comes to generating watts, does the paddling version of the C2 erg make it harder or easier than the stock rowing version? Thank you
It's harder, I race professionally and 110w is a pretty solid effort, and rowing that would be an extremely easy effort
Any chance you know of a place to get just a paddle?
Are you referring to just the paddle handle for the paddle adapter? Or a paddle in general?
@@kevintolson just a paddle for the adapter.
They sell the shafts at the paddlesports training systems site. Might have to email them though
