I think Knight Rider really drop the ball in this episode they could’ve use the Fire button at least two times in this episode...And I’m a big Knight Rider fan I actually watch it when it was on NBC...My favorite show of all time...

Notice how around 3:20-3:28, they just used the same footage, 3 different times?...
They used it as it originally was presented for the first shot, they flipped it for the second shot & they zoomed in on the original footage for the last shot.
These heat-seeking missiles were so slow an old arthritic man could have out-run them.

I have seen this episode loads of times, but I just spotted that in some scenes, Michael's window was open. It's probably not a big deal, but I hadn't noticed before. Was there a few shots done in one of the other 'K.I.T.T's'

America was kind of/sort of considering switching at the time so some shows used metric albeit inconsistently; Quincy ME did it, and the original Star Trek did as well back in the late 1960s.
Notice the way K.I.T.T.'s steering wheel looks in this episode compared to later episodes?...
This was the second episode so it was probably the stunt car and not the hero car

Its really strange to observe that drones as referred in this episode was familiar during the 80's. I thought that drones were invented during 2000's.
Drones were around since before World War 2.
The first military drone was actually a Soviet T-26 in 'Tele-tank' version.
It was a remote controlled light tank.
I always wondered why in the 1st season Kitt had rockets missiles & a laser but in the later seasons he didn't have any of them expect the laser bonnie try to put in for Carr and why Bonnie was in the 1st season but had April in season 2 and then Bonnie came back in season 3 ?
I guess the moat logical explanation is kitt was destroyed completely multiple times.. So they didn't add those when they repared kitt. And according to google bonnie left show bcz of some issue with director or something like that in season 2. Don't remember correctly. U can search google
