- Before Holiday World opened for the day, we were up bright and early for a morning walk 159 feet up to the top of the parks tallest roller coaster, The Voyage! To make things better, we went backstage of Thunderbird to see how that ride works! Big thanks to the park for making this tour happen- Stay tuned till next year where you could have the opportunity to do the exact same tour! More information will be available at a later date.

Hands down the coolest part is the fact they entered through the exit such rebels
Actually that's true since it was an exclusive tour and not breaking the rules
But the real question is: did you slide down the drop
_lé epic_
@@Rolling_Coasters base jump
Coaster Cloud Oh, you’d do it before you die alright. Right before you die, in fact.
obama alert is the biggest memer of the coaster community, always gets the top comment so quick with the MEMES
obama alert rename your channel to “The Coaster Memer”
I used to work at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and I was always forced to climb the lift at Tatsu to test the emergency stop.
And it was terrifying I DREADED IT everyday when my shift was scheduled for Tatsu.
...and yet here you guys are paying for this experience. 😖
Lol lift walk ain't too bad.
In ride maintenance, we do track work off the catwalk sometimes in the rain. Now that's sketchy lol
Must have been a Voyage climbing up there!
Okay, that was bad...
Actually this wasnt as bad as you thought😂
Legend has it they saw a raven up there
The Flip during a thunderstorm caused by a Thunderbird
Can you do top 10 cloned roller coasters or top 10 strongest airtime moments?
Yes.
Sounds like content Airtime Thrills would make
@@justiceleaguebattleformetr9239 true. I asked Airtime Thrills if he could do top 10 cloned or top 10 strongest airtime moments on a roller coaster first. He said, "Strongest Airtime moments would be diff than my favorites. Could be a good video"
Bro I seriously love looking at my phone and seeing things like “We climbed to the top of the voyage” or “we got stuck on a sketchy backyard roller coaster” haha keep it up 😂😂
Next, climb Top Thrill Dragster
LOL I wish...
Climb it! Only weak persons use the elevator they have😎
What a view from up there. So cool they gave you the opportunity to do that
2:18 is that where Pilgrim's Plunge used to be?
I'm pretty sure it is.
yes
Taylor: I hope I'm not too late to this video!
You should bring back Coaster Fights, and you should compare coasters with similar names, e.g. Shivering/Mystic/Twisted Timbers, and all the --Force coasters!
Or all the Goliaths
Wing coaster: Exists
Random enthusiast: they're forceless
Thunderbird/Fenix: we're bout to end this man's whole carreer
When you dispensed the ear plugs, I thought they were candy corn. Lol 😂😂
I would love to do that. I love going up tall buildings and doing tours and stuff. I did the tower tour in Salisbury Cathedral and it was amazing. Felt cool seeing the cathedral floor getting smaller and smaller as you went up. The views were amazing and you could actually be next to the bells when they rang (with ear defenders). Hope I get to do Walk The Big One in BPB one day because that looks amazing too.
this is my favorite amusement and water park im going there in a couple of weeks
also i had no idea about the cheetah chase!!
Next you should climb Thunderbird’s lift hill!
Oh wait...
You should revisit your old “My Top 5 Gigas” video and do an update since you’ve ridden Orion, Red Force, and Steel Dragon!
Im definitely gonna buy a season pass next year sense I only live like 2 hrs away from there
this makes me want to go to this park even more (especially for HoliWood nights)
not to brag but I climbed twister and phoenix and added a train on impulse
Lucky
Maintenance?
Family of Stacey ososkie :just look her up
And just to let you know I Am 10
Imagine climbing up Intimidator 305 tho
Jeez, I would have fainted. You have officially earned your balls of steel.
If MrBeast had this opportunity, he’d be like: _”Last person to stop climbing a rollercoaster wins $10,000”_
ratlvcas And they do it on a giga
@@monsieurbacteria8110 they would build their own coaster lol
Except with kingda ka😂
@@JonathonGomez they make Fury 325 but 4 times higher lmaoo
First one to reach the top of the euthanasia coaster wins 100k
This is one of the coolest vids. I'd be scared out of my MIND climbing up that high 😂 I cant do heights but for some reason I can ride coasters.
Also, I want Alec's shirt. I'd feel hella cute in it. 👌🎢
Me: I want to ride Voyage!
Taylor: I want to climb Voyage!
Taylor you should seriously consider selling branded face masks as merch they would probably sell especially well in the coaster community
Voyage is a good one to climb I feel. Nice views up there 👌
Awesome video and thanks for the sneak peak at the tours coming to Holidayworld next year I will definitely watch for more information to come on the park's website.
I'm cool with heights when I'm strapped in, but Idk about walking those stairs lol
Biggest mood
Yeah no kidding
Me.
8:29 whatever you do, don't let Golden Horse see that
It is so funny seeing Taylor use his mask. It is so big on him haha! LoL!
I wish someone would have turned on the chain to make them all jump.😂😂😂
i dont think they're allowed to
ShadowStar210 yee
did holiday world change there soundtrack for social distancing? (6:46)
They changed the Splashin' Safari soundtrack to play the full song, but every hour (at X:30) they play the chorus and have a safety announcement play.
Edit: that safety announcement is what you're hearing in the video
Hyena Falls potentially closed for the season next to the carcass of Pilgrim's Plunge? Very intriguing. I'd love to see an RMC Raptor reuse the Pilgrim's Plunge station, helping flesh out the long walk between Thunderbird and Voyage. Always felt Hyena Falls was out of place there.
I know this comment is over a year old, but they permanently closed Hyena Falls. I assume because it was too far away from the water park and it didn't get much traction. When I went to the falls, there were maybe a handful of other families there.
Thunderbird was added to probably in my top 10, that launch was amazing, and the ride was probably one of the smoothest i've experienced!
All dislikes are from people who couldn’t enter in from the exit
Wow. That’s nice. Great content as always. Nice to see the view from the top of voyage. Keep Up The Great Work Taylor/Alec and Stay Safe
Those views from the top are amazing, only if you could do this with Millinium Force. You could get the best shots.
Thunderbird looks so fun. Definitely want to make it out to this park at some point.
only lifts ive climbed are SFOT Batman, La Vibora (mostly just climbing down after leaf blowing the trough), and Titan. all for work related reasons.
The Voyage is my favorite night time ride - with the trim brakes off.
Golden horse about to inspect element at 8:30 and create a wing coaster, watch out Taylor, don't create a monster, lol
This looks like such a nice park and the staff seemed super nice! Loved seeing behind the scenes of a park!
My fav ride there is the voyage!! The hill is outstanding!
I thought Cheetah Chase partially replaced Monsoon Lagoon? It was an old water playground from the early 2000s. The play place was built when I was younger, but it was becoming harder to repair and they demolished it. So I believe it did replace that, but just partially. I remember the last time I went to HW that lagoon was actually gated off.
This should make for some excellent photo ops
You guys are soooo lucky! Congrats on such an amazing opportunity! Was hoping to see a death-defying view of the first drop!
All the trucks going around reminds me of being at Knoebels before the park opens so I could get in line for the first rides of the day on the Phoenix.
Wow ive only klimed sheikra this looka amazing
nice view from up top. Cedar Point has that kind of tour. at least they did last year
You wouldnt be able to do that in the UK without being strapped to a saftey line and wearing a helmet .
I dont think a helmet would help with a fall that large.
@@bcolerl8915 I agree , but that is the state we are in with H&S here in the UK
I remember years ago I snuck into this park while it was closed with my brother and friend. We climbed one of the water slides, but didn't do much else since workers were roaming the park. I love Holiday World
Great video Taylor and crew. Cool you got to go to the top of the lift hill on Voyage.
At 7:48. Look how nice that train comes in and glides slowly around to the station. Only B&M can provide that. Pay attention Intamin. 😂
hold up... you were behind me in the line of cheetah chase...
Ah dang! I was just there this week! I wish I seen ya over there, I could've said hi!...
... "Hi!"
I’m about 30 minutes down the road from this park. Really is incredible such a great park is in such a small town
I climbed Voyage first year. However years before that when Will, God bless his soul, was living we climbed The Raven while the trains were running. Crazy....
Wait, Raven was operating while you climbed it?
I literally saw Paul at kings island in line for Orion
It's funny that you posted this today, as I visited for the first time today!
Is it just me or does Thunderbird look very complex, it is very interesting seeing all the machines and switched to control the ride. That room was just for the launch, lots of engineering must of went into it. I am no engineer but It makes sense that all those computers are there to power the Magnetic LSM Launch. This reminds me a lot of Yukon Striker with how complex it is and how much goes into it.
Walkin track takes ya back. Respect Fear Appreciation step by step...
Detailed engineering pictures for Thunderbird. Holy cow
Can't wait for the Orion review, great video as usual!
Awesome video
My mouth waters whenever I see that former Pilgrim's Plunge plot of land
Even tho i love coasters im afraid of heigts. So respect for you guys!
Is it just me who loves the sound of a wing coaster entering the station?
Who else has a fear of heights but loves roller coasters
We didn’t go last year due to covid so hopefully sometime this month we go or the first week of august we go
Wow
That is so cool. Great Video
CAN YOU COVER THE STORM RUNNER NEAR-DEATH LAWSUIT?!?!? Apparently, a kid just tall enough to ride roller coasters went with his dad onto Storm runner, where he was completely unrestrained and they sent the train and he managed to jump off the ride before the launch
Way cool!
I was evacuated off a log ride once at Santa Cruz and the stairs we walked down alongside the drop were so steep it made me terrified
Be the first year I miss out on love my home park
I’m not scared of riding coaster, but scared of climbing up them, weird how that works…
Thunderbird is my favorite coaster at HW.
That’s second fiddle to Voyage to me
You and your partner look adorable together!
Wait, u didn’t have a harness, all UK coaster climbs u must have a harness
That’s so cool
this is actually really cool!
I dreamed of walking up a roller coaster, before I ever even rode one lol~
This is my dream!!!
That's my home park!
Nice video 👍
Voyage is one of my dream coasters. I'd appreciate the apocalypse putting itself on hold for a while so I can ride it 😒
I didn’t wear my shoes on Montu and it felt like there was a tag on the bottom of my sock because it was so forceful
Now that is a workout
Holiday World is my home park
I USE TO WORK HERE!
I was there yesterday!
6:48 - the perfect song for our times
I was there last weekend, it took me a while to realize all the songs were about social distancing...
Sucks that I am not keen on heights would be cool to be able to walk on a coaster before it runs.
I would most likely freeze half way up or maybe not even be able to even start as I have a fear of heights. o.o
At least with this I can check it out and not have my heights fears triggered. ;)
Why are they using flywheels to store the energy for the launch? I always thought that the energy stored by big capacitors is much more efficient than with flywheels
This is my state!
I was behind them at the Wildebeest
they were behind me on cheetah chase
Nice
Are you planning on going to holiwood nights this year?
I don't understand why people say wing coasters are forceless, the people who say that obviously haven't ridden Thunderbird or Wild Eagle. (Two Wing Coasters that I think are very forceful)
7:43 They added a new single rider line I see.
