    Some random mythology;
    According to Greek mythology the first lyre was made by Hermes when he was first born. He killed a turtle and used its shell and some cow guts to create the first one. On that same night he had kidnapped (cownapped?) Apollo's sacred cows and after Apollo found the baby God he was furious. So in return for his freedom he gave Apollo his remaining cows back and the lyre. That is how Apollo obtained the lyre.

    Im reading Isaiah 16:11
    " Therefore I moan like the sound of a Lyre from Moab as does my innermost being for Kirheres"
    I needed to hear the sound to try to understand the verse.
    It's a beautiful, sad sound.

      Correct me if I am wrong, but probably not historically correct.

    Musica particolare che offre relax ai nostri sensi e un piacevole ascolto. Un ritornare all'antico, nella magia del suono di un ritornello. Piccola strofa di una poesia che si perde nel tempo dell'eternità.

    Magnifique travail sur la lyre ! c'est cool de perpétuer l'enseignement de la lyre (et autres instruments médiévaux/traditionnels ) dans des écoles de musique et de danse ! Et aussi, sympa la musique !

    Bonjour! I just bought lyre recently and I really love ancient/medieaval music. However, i am stucked, because u can't find anywhere any antique notes for lyre. And i don't have any experience with musical instruments yet. Do you know about a book or internet pages, where to find notes for this kind of music?
