I'm really suprised you didn't talk about/take perseverance, as the -3 damage it gives applies on each instance of damage (true dmg is counted as a separate instance) this would allow you to block up to 6 dmg per melee hit(assuming they are geared). I also think it works for each instance of magic dmg(but haven't tested this yet) meaning you could block 18 dmg if you took a direct hit from a fireball, 3 from the direct/splash/dot, and an additional 3 from each time the true dmg is applied
inb4 they remove multiclassing in a week and this guide becomes outdated

I've been having fun with a slayer fighter that has hide and ambush
op combo. keep using it til its removed i have a kit for fighter that hits 128 out of stealth then 103 after that. so op
@EsotericCat it's like playing as a rouge but with a far better character with much better base stat's/hp/access to crossbow
