Yup I lost my level 50 solo self found in that lag spike. Had no warning, everything just froze up then I couldn't log back in for a solid 5-10 minutes
Did you appeal? It can't be coincidence that Blizz has hardcore as the laggiest and most DC buggy servers. I hope they allow appeals, I don't play HC. Would be absolute bullshit for them not to allow appeals when it's their fault, especially on a large scale like that.
@@user-fg3fv9hl3b I think just last year in August they announced all deaths are permanent. They tried to add features that remove a characters after DC but it's crap. You can report certain things like people griefing and get them banned but you cannot have your character back if it died. It's just so much middle manning for Blizz they stopped trying.
@@user-fg3fv9hl3b Unfortunately there are no appeals on official servers. The hardcore addon mods used to run appeals for these reasons, but Blizzard just won't put the man power, and it would be abused to hell if it was a system.
Blizzard is a small multi dollar indie company, you can't expect them to employ a few real human beings to review reports, so hardcore dc death appeals? unimaginable
3:19 I made the video!! I was one of the DC lag spike deaths flashing on the screen 😂 still salty even after losing a 50 SF warrior to a Blizz dc the week before.
that lag spike is like one of the main reasons why i dont play hardcore in online games. like getting to terms with your own fuck ups is bad enough but when its literally just a server issue where you had no influence on that would just trigger me.
@@Brimmy If it would have gotten the adds to stop attacking him, then yes it would have been useful. However, as I said, it only reduces threat by like a flat 400. It's not particularly likely that his lead on the tank was that small. Since he was at range his threat was at least 130% of the tanks, and for the adds to go back to the tank the tank would need 130% of the priests post-fade threat value. It may have worked, but there's also the very, very high likelihood that Fade does what it typically does in classic, absolutely nothing at all, and be a total waste of resources. If it was Wrath-era Fade, he absolutely should have pressed it. Classic-era fade is absolute trash, though.
Died today in HC. But I'm proud to say it wasn't to panic, it was to overconfidence and miscalculating my casting speed in relation to the mob's unusually high attack speed :)
@4:20 absolute mage brain tank said hes gonna pull out of the room, mage just immediatly goes have and pulls all agro before the tank has even positioned the mobs rightfully clapped
I'm not sure which one but it's most likely an add-on like restedXP that flashes consumables while low hp. Mine do it too. I'd have to check if it's rxp or another add-on.
Couldn’t the Thaddius guys just have kept up the rotation? Do you deal damage to your entire raid after the boss dies despite having the same polarity? I don’t think so?
oh and btw there is a setting you can turn on even in hardcore options - interface - names - critters and companions - turn it on and you can see the little roach names running around the room.
20:54 petri while right next to the safespot.. then 28:10 instead of hearthing out he tried to stealth and makes him die.. you really wanna play with a noob like that?
So hilarious that dummies are still trying to do the Uldaman adds skip, when it was fixed years ago now. Just do the fight the way it was intended. It's incredibly easy. Kills adds and burst down boss on final phase. Trying to skip in Hardcore gives me brain damage.
guzu dont make blizzard start a new server. existing HC servers are good and healthy. we got 4 layers on stitches-eu. new servers are really not neccessary
8:00 guzu says group content is more dangerous than solo. Im not sure I agree. I guess it depends on playstyle, but personally more of my HC deaths are in solo content due to hubris/lack of patience. i have only died 1 time in a dungeon, and it was someone elses fault, but also I couldve played it better. Ive died a lot more times being foolish on my own.
group content is a multitude more dangerous. you are relying on 4+ other people to also not mess up. solo content is only gated by difficulty and you can comfortably level on green/yellow mobs. just dont do crazy hard elites solo
@@KumoGoesFast i understand that view, but you also have 4 people who will save you, 4 more people on the threat table. so its not just "well there are 4 other people to make a mistake"--there are 4 ppl who can make a mistake, but also 4 people who can correct your mistake, or guide you into a position where you dont make a mistake, because they know the dungeon and can guide you through it. mobs also typically do not respawn in dungeons, and the path towards dungeon completion is often very cut and dry, i.e. the pulls are ALWAYS the same, versus in solo content things are always variable, you will get random hyperspawns, your get away path may not be as clear as youd hoped like i said, I think it comes down to playstyle. it also comes down to role, tanks die more often as a result of someone else's error. But a DPS role complaining they died because of someone elses error in a dungeon is almost always not true. DPS should understand threat, and if they understand the pull and the mobs and how threat works in that fight they should never be reliant on someone else.
@@dakineprotoss There are arguments for both. Good players won't die from good play and will save others, bad players are the opposite. The reality however is everyone makes mistakes, but a group member's mistake can kill others in their group. Solo mistakes are yours alone to suffer.
How to win in HC wow. Never do any group content. If you do decide to do group content, then do NOT be a tank, and do NOT be a healer. Play a dps and make sure you are at the bottom of the dps meters. You will have the best chance of survival that way when it all goes to shit. I love when people are rewarded for being bad and non-team players... It's no wonder HC is full of trash players.
Seen the hunter at 24 minutes? That's what we learned to expect. The class is so easy, many never learn to play. The few that do are getting used to solo 5 men content and are still a liability. I know. I have played hunter ;-)
The part where that guy died was wild
Best part of the video
That was my favorite part too
I missed that
that part when those people died is even crazier
Hunter's fault
I respect lets get eggy guy. Took the loss like a champ and even decided losing the character wssnt enough and egged himself.
The frost nova deaths make me laugh. If you freeze them in place right next to you, you become their only melee target ... RIP ☠

Why is the priest in Mara not using Fade, was very triggering.
yeah literally wouldve been totally fine if he used it lol. and its bound too. so bad
No renew either.
To be fair, Fade at that level only reduces threat by a flat 400 and only temporarily, so it probably would not have saved him.

It is, but maybe too risky for hardcore so they rather do this. They probably dont need bonus dmg considering how overgeared and overbuffed they are.

Not every instance needs to be a straight line corridor.
