One thing I loved about the Zero series was that bosses had different sprites based on whether you beat them with the buster or a sword, such a great game!

When you do Zero 2 and beyond. Make sure you get A ranks at the end of every mission. You'll unlock more weapon skills for doing so.

To this day, i cannot believe that they turned Zero, the Zero, the badass big and chunky red robocop, who despite knowing when things got serious, always had time to crack a smile, into this weird, short, muscular child that is angry all the time, complete character assassination.
