Hey, just fyi, Oatly is a Swedish company and oatmilk was actually invented in Sweden 😏😏
No oat milk wasn’t invented in Sweden. Vegans like me and my parents have made oat milk at home for ever. Commercially though in the 1990’s a Swedish scientist developed oat milk to sell. Developed is different then invention. Selling milk commercially is more involved so that is why the Swedish scientist developed a stable oat milk with shelf life to sell and he was the first to do so. Oatly and other oat milk brands taste a bit different from the homemade one but are equally delicious!
