I have too many shoes as it is!! Sounds impressive but need to get some wear out of my others first Aubrey! Good luck for Berlin, I have been watching your training videos my friend!
Thank you so much sir… I’m super excited and taking this a day at a time and not overstretching myself because the goal is to simply finish. Thanks for being in my corner.
I just did my first 11k run in these, blue purple edt, nothing sick, around 5:05min/km. I was using adidas pro 3, deffo the lacing is much nicer! I agree with everything you said Aubrey, it’s a great shoe I enjoyed a lot :) anyways, I chose this instead of the ASICS sky Paris because of this review as I could not afford to get both 😃 hopefully will run into you at the big half 😃
Totally agree about the shoe “disappearing“ theory! I am starting to eyeball this Puma lineup a lot.. I may need to head to Fleet feet and check them out soon. My shoe rotation needs a new friend soon.
These have grown on me every time I use them. I have the Sky Paris and all the Alphafly’s and they are almost as good as the Alphafly 1. And they grip well. Sizing seems ok in my usual sizing. My Alphafly 3s need more miles before I decide but I nearly ruined them on my first run gathering stones, no such issue with the Puma’s. Sky Paris is great but squeaky on grass!
Even if I don’t need another pair of shoes, I might consider this one for my future marathon. I actually have the ASICS metaspeed sky Paris. I ran once in and felt it’s an incredible shoe, forgiving and fast. To compare may be I will buy the deviate nitro elite 3 and decide which one is better for me
I have the DNE3, also in a 9.5, and it’s an amazing shoe. I did have to heel lock them (aka runners knot) to get rid of heel rub as they are a bit long. In hindsight I could’ve gotten away with half a size down I think. Otherwise it’s great, fast, comfy, bouncy and I’ve set 3 big PB’s (5k, 10k & HM) all within the last 2 and a bit weeks I have the DN2 regular and 9.5 fitted me perfectly, so you’re right to say it is a bit long
@@AubreyRunning I think for race shoe standards it’s going to be very durable too. Also the price is really good, for race shoes anyway. The superblasts are both more expensive, which I think is absurd
Love your reviews. Wondering which is more stable out of the Asics Edge Paris and Puma elite v3 for a heel to midfoot striker with slight pronation. Paces range 4.45 per km to 5.30 per km.
I wouldn’t recommend it. This is a super shoe designed for race day and limited durability compared to shoes designed to be daily trainers. Plus I would recommend doing your daily training in carbon plated shoes
Bought the Deviate Nitro Elite 3 half size down smaller than all my other Puma shoes. Fits perfectly.
Glad to hear that this wasn’t just me! Yeah that was my only fault with the shoe.
So they are not true to size fit ?
Love the whole video, and the way you express man. Lovely way to decide
Genuinely my pleasure to serve up such videos. Thank you for the feedback too!

I think i need to have it published as an actual thing in an article . This is no theory, it’s running wisdom 😂😂😂😂.
Wow. you sold me on this shoe!
I honestly can’t fault it! An excellent running shoe!

Honestly, these are number 1 or 2 race day for the year. Easily
Love it, great review sir! But how does it compared to Adios Pro 3, which comes better in overall from a wide footer perspective?
Excellent question and I will have to do a comparative video for you
@@AubreyRunning Waiting for that!

Let me just say… the metaspeed sky is definitely an amazing shoe. I’m currently testing out the Saucony Pro 4 and getting to that straight after
So many people are saying good things about this shoe, I’m kinda hoping they drop more colours for it and then its a guaranteed buy!
Gotta tell you… I’m honestly impressed with how this shoe performs and feels. I’m definitely this shoe’s biggest fan
@@AubreyRunning Awesome, I dont have a racing type shoe yet, I think the puma will be the one though
Better than Rocket X2? Which has more cushioned bouncy ride?
I have a video coming up with that comparison!
what's the size comparison to the deviate 3 vs deviate elite 3?
The nitro 3 fits true to size and I found the elite 3 running long

You might just be my double, that’s exactly my story with this shoe. Apart from the fit, this shoe is 100% what it should be.

For me, that’s an easy one… the deviate nitro elite 3!
Wore for 5 k race other day ,very impressed
It’s an incredible shoe! I’m a massive fan!
@@AubreyRunning what is the nitro 3 version like ? (Not the elite)as a daily trainer? Or is it more a session shoe
Great review. Question: what running socks do you wear?
I wear a lot of different ones but the more notable ones are by Monkey Sox. Check them out on Instagram
Sir can I use this as my daily trainer? Is this durable?
I wouldn’t recommend it. This is a super shoe designed for race day and limited durability compared to shoes designed to be daily trainers. Plus I would recommend doing your daily training in carbon plated shoes
Saludos amigo. Lets go Lets go Lets go.
🤙 love it! Thank you Amigo
Does it fit like the Deviate Nitro 3?
Not at all… very different shoe! The nitro elite 3 is simply outstanding and nothing like it
@@AubreyRunning sorry another question. So if I am a US 11 on the Deviate Nitro 3, would you recommend I go US 10.5 on the Elite 3?
About the sizing - always use the EU sizing if you want consistency
I don’t think it’s that, for me even if you use EU sizing I’m consistent with the other shoes in Puma line up apart from this one!
@@AubreyRunning I second this
How does it compare to the Endorphin Pro 4?
Excellent question… I will drop the Pro 4 review this week!
For me it's too expensive now, around 230€ here....DN Elite 2 is 130€, thoughts? Thanks :)
Before this shoe came, the Deviate Nitro Elite 2 was my favourite Puma running shoe period so in my view… that’s a good deal!
@@AubreyRunning thanks :)
It's the Best...
Puma’s best for sure
Better than Hoka cielo
The beauty of this sport is that we will all have different experiences and favourites
I don’t recommend- I’ve had some issues with the carbon plate fracturing and Puma customer service do not want to know. Caveat emptor I suppose 😐
That’s the beauty of the running experience, we all have our own paths. Fair enough
