I recommend deadheading the spent blossoms to keep the blossoms coming. 🌻

So beautiful. We were not aware of phlox paniculatas until recently. We’ve only had creeping phloxes and they are just as beautiful as ground covers.

I totally agree. The creeping phlox is lovely too! ~elke~

I just planted, but I’m in Northern Alberta so we’ll see! I’m an eternal optimist and grow many things not for my zone.

I love it that you are pushing your zone a little bit. We also have micro climates in our gardens which gives us some room to experiment. Wishing you all the best and happy gardening. ~elke~

I've planted some calla lilies in pots. They've started to come up but I don't know whether to fertilize them now or not. How often can we do it ? Could you help, please.

Generally speaking for the first season of growth you do not need to apply any fertilizer to your calla lilies as they have everything they need to grow and flower. In the fall, after the first season of growth, we would then recommend applying a slow-release fertilizer to replenish the soil in the container. ~pam~
