There used to be direct flights between Zurich and Tromsø before COVID, so if that starts up again it would be easy for you to visit Northern Norway;) But your country is not so bad either:-)

There are herds of reindeers on the island. Except for that you will only meet small and harmless animals (th-cam.com/video/vnke-7Y0TFg/w-d-xo.html) and nothing dangerous. But there can be a trillion of flies and mosquitoes....

Thank you Kaatje - this a rugged place and it can be windy; so a good tent is needed to be on the safe side. But on the other hand this is an absolutely stunning island to explore and wild camp on! The place is incredible:) All the best, Ant
You should visit Norway in summer. With a RV you have freedom to explore and go places - avoid Lofoten and go to places with less traffic. You will enjoy it:)

Norway looks like a dream!!! Do you often get to see northern lights/ arora? Is that like a casual everyday thing to Norwegias? Wish i could see that once in my lifetime.
We only see it between October and March. The rest of the year the nights are to bright to see it properly. And you have to be north of the Polar Circle to see them regularly. But in winter you will see them almost every night when the sky is clear. However the intensity of the lights will depend on space weather and solar activity. In my city they often are weak and more like something milky 🌌 dancing in the sky than what you see in movies. But still impressive when you take the time to look;)
It must be a dream to hike there in this barren arctic landscape. With so much ´utsikt`. If only it wasn't so far away😖. But it's definitely on my list👍
Lol no it is not my house if you think about the shabby cabin. It is a cabin open for hikers/skiiers, but I am not sure who owns it? I have a movie that is only about the cabin and shows the inside and more of the area: th-cam.com/video/RTMjayg1bNc/w-d-xo.html

I can understand why you think of Ireland. Difference is much shorter summers and more rocks - the layer of soil up here is very thin and the weather means that trees have a hard time growing.I am happy you enjoyed this movie:)
