@@Visionaryy well yeah, in that regard it is 'wrong', in years past you'd hear praise from people like "omg did you see metallica last night man, they sounded just like the album" .. when did that stop being what people look for? or when did it start to confuse you that people do look for that?
And as far as Ray goes as a person, also in the past he's been known to study the fuck out of a song until he can nail it, see: Ever Be, i accept that he can't nail everything, and i also give him praise all the times it's due, but i don't think this performance was one of those times at all.
@@CyPhaSaRin surely respect it when a drummer plays a song spot on perfect but I actually like it more when it's mixed up with small changes or a different fill as long as it fits the song

fun fact. He never changed the snare since 2014/15. It was always a Free Floater Phosphor Bronze Snare by Pearl and it was always high tuned. It was just the mixing that the snare made it as you describe it.

I love Korn and I’ve seen them live several times in the U.K. I’ve never seen them play this live. It’s one of my favourite songs of theirs. I remember when I saw them in the issues tour at Wembley Arena when they played Its On and it was so heavy. Then another time at the U.K. ozzfest at the o2 when they opened with Right Now it was fucking brutal.

Controversial opinion but in all honesty I agree
I find David sound better because I love the records hes in more and very small songs from new records. I still respect both of them and honestly I've seen a shit ton of interviews and videos of ray and I love Ray more hes a very amazing person. But still David's drumming style in hes records with korn I favor more.
