if you've got 5 passes you can get a deagle, 10 skins from each collection, and use the rest on cases or whatever else you'd like. Personally I think the new case is going to be a solid long-term investment as there are barriers to entry to obtain them and they are not a part of the active in-game drop pool.
Im already done with 5passes and took out 97 cases, imma go for another 5 asses and just split with charms cases and stickers.I think a lot of people are sleepping on those charms. the different patterns really are a great addon

GInding passes it's better to buy all 5 at once cause you get get progress on all at once. I don't have the time to play as much though so I won't be grinding out passes. I'll wait to see them hit the market and buy things.

It just depends on what people are pricing and selling at. You'll only know when you see the first case on the market. The price will more than likely be at its peak as soon as it drops. Or in +5yrs time if you hold it for that long lol
If u sell it in the first hour of the cases being marketable, you'll most likely make ur money back, cause I'm pretty sure there were no exploits on day one of the pass, therefore making the supply low.

I don’t really agree with the deagle and mp5 comparison. One skin is much more desirable than the other. Not only that but you have to dedicate time and money to obtain the deag. Just because they were both limited edition doesn’t mean they are similar.
The point with the mp5s isnt really true. The mp5 is shit price because it was free and nobody uses mp5. On the other end the deagle can have a really good price because of the bluegem and how much people love bluegems aswell as the fact that the deagle is one of the most played weapons.
The point of the mp5 is that limited and discontinued skins aren’t always expensive. Obviously these are different skins under different circumstances, so it’s not a 1 to 1 comparison

I got a deagle that’s 49.6% blue, it’s .4% off being considered a tier 1 blue gem but I’m still happy since I got it to be a play skin. Rest I’m spending on charms and cases since I ain’t tryna profit. Just spending on what I enjoy

whats your opinion on the possibility of case farmers jumping in on the passes? sure, its a pretty big investment paying $1600 per lobby (20 bot accounts, 4000 stars each cycle), but I definitely feel like the returns could be there for them, and all they have to do is farm cases normally with the added bonus of armory stars. I could see a lot of items like the cases being less scarce than past operation cases
possible, but I know a lot of case farmers dont want to take that risk. Prime takes them a while to make back, I dont think most want to put that much money into it
Nobody knows it is Valve, they released 4 times the exact same sticker collection just always keep that in mind as a leading example. Normally these cases would be great to stock for like 2 years but really you cannot be forsho.
