I have seen that no one has responded to your request to explain why the Operation Hydra case is so expensive. First of all, it is an Operation Case, which is why it was not dropped after the end of Operation Hydra. This happened particularly fast with this case and therefore had relatively few in circulation and few people invested in it. On the other hand, this case is one of the only two cases with the also expensive Glove Case in which the Pandoras Box, Hedge Maze and Superconductor Gloves can be unboxed out of. Hydra case was very limited, it was also time when operation cases were doping to 3 cents, so no big investments etc. Soon after Chinese came and bought too many of them. Ohhh btw this case is not an rare drop, so you can't get it anymore.
