I like how Roger mixed up the set list and picked this deep cut from meddle. What a treat for people like me who have seen every tour since radio waves in 1987. Hearing wish you were here and another brick in the wall is great but kind of played out. I would love to hear them play tracks from more and zabriski point film soundtracks. Serious Floyd fans know what I'm taking about. The Nile song would be epic to close out show.
Sure indeed, I saw him in 2002, 2007 and twice with the Wall in South America.. I am from Uruguay... Set list from this tour does not appeall me, even thou he will come to Estadio Centenario for the first time (don´t have to cross to Argentina)... I´m bored of the same old DSOTM, WYWH and the Wall songs.... I loved ATD, TFC performances.... This tour, if I want to attend, only 4 the Animals songs (fantastic ones) and this one. Maybe One of these days, perhaps.
I dunno, every song that Roger solo plays from Pink Floyd appears to need have a political slant... even those that didn't have them before. I think I prefer the original with Gilmore and the more poetic meaning.
Wrong - it's Liverpool supporters - that's why at the end of the song they chant Liverpool, Liverpool. All these other clubs claiming they sung YNWA first - Liverpool were the first to sing it. Gerry Marsden was from Liverpool, and the Kop would sing lots of chart pop songs, many of which at the time were sung by singers/bands from Liverpool. Listen to the song on the album.
Uh, I don't play bass but I didn't hear nothing bad or out of tune, the sound ain't that good that's all,the singer sounds a bit out of pitch in places,but hey, it's not gilmour.listening to the crowd singing, you'll never walk alone was special at the end.

I love Rog but I have to say, sounds like an amateur on the bass. I felt the same on The wall tour.
