I grew up going to the beach every summer, and while I always thought about sharks, I believed they were a rare occurrence, that the chance of one being in the area was slim. Little did I know there are many of them, at any time, swimming right along the beaches. They are out there for sure! This means that their danger to humans is highly exaggerated -but I’m not taking any chances.
@@SUMO-y6w only twice, I'd laugh, but I;ve worked with over 1,000 snakes, and 'only' been bitten twice, I'm not gonna stop so I know what you mean, just be careful and good luck :-)
Sharks live in the ocean....if they come on land and bite people, kill them. Leave them alone. If surfers want to risk attack, it’s their prerogative. I live on the ocean in south Florida. We have our share of attacks, mainly Bull sharks. Don’t swim at night, dusk or dawn. Don’t swim when fish school. It’s rare a local gets bit. It’s usually a tourist that doesn’t understand.
Lions live on land, so surfers, divers, swimmers who want to enjoy the ocean without risk will breed some lions in your local neighbourhood, and when you complain about attacks, we'll just say 'lions live on land, so if you want to step outside your house, well thats on you"
Shaun Piercey it makes no sense you said people will breed lions so they aren’t in their natural habitat but the sharks are in their natural habitat. So your synopsis is flawed from the start smh.
TheBigwheels11 plenty have locals here have been killed ,followed ,old mate i bumped into a few wks ago was stalked all way round the lighthouse I saw him 24/hours after it happened & he was still off tap on the adrenaline, we had an animal communicator here while ago , that said the sharks told her they go for surfers cause there Competitive and sharks are naturally competitive with each other
I was born in Florida and now live in Hawaii and I surf the sharks in Florida are more savage and dangerous than sharks in Hawaii they don’t go near you and their are barely any attacks their is like one a year their is more box jelly fish fatality than shark fatality
I go on holidays at Evans Head and some people you talk to say the problem lies with the do gooders. They chum the waters near known surfing zones. Because they do it, sharks now associate the trawlers with food.
@@mbp7060 I say---Why rush our demise? Life is short enough, so let us live it as safely as possible. One might get run over by a bus or a train too. I prefer to die of old age in my sleep. Why provide sharks food for thought?
The sharks become conditioned to know the boats with shark diving cages because of the chum they put in the water, they know the sounds of the motors and come around because they know there will be food.
@@mojo5093 it has become second nature for sharks to hunt cages due to all the bad publicity - in no small part due to the exploitation of Hawaiian free divers touching them.

Leif Leoden but that's natural hunting. It may be gruesome and harsh but it’s life. Fish nets are not naturally in the ocean and kill everything indiscriminately
@@bmsvg7356 It's nature, right? But, also, dying by a pod of Orcas may be terrifying to baby and Mama...but not as stressful and terrifying as the slow, torturous, most cruel death of a net
At the end of the day, shark nets cause more damage then if they weren't there. People go in at there own risk and we're going in there territory so why should sharks be punished. They should just build a glass wall instead of something made to kill innocent creatures. The nets don't even work so why make them, 1st there a waste of money, 2nd there just killing creatures-which are mostly dolphins fish and raes- They should make more barryars if anything at all. Thank you for reading♥️
The nets kill other ocean animals, and that causes even more sharks to come and eat, and if humans are in the water in that area, sense they are alive, they go to the top of the menu. If you play with fire enough, you will surely get burned. Going into the ocean for fun, it isn't any different that going into the woods and never looking down, if you do it enough, you will get bit by a poisonous snake that will kill you. Same goes for going into the ocean where huge sharks go for hunting food, and if you go in the water enough times, you will certainly end up on the menu!!!!
@@shellyduval9646 The only problem with making a wall like that is it could get damaged and that could cause a problem with the animals being hurt worse
It's all very sad that people are fatally attacked by sharks, but it is about survival of the fittest to be fair. Also, sharks belong in their natural habitat - oceans - more than people, who are mammals and belong on land. If we want to play Russian roulette by swimming or surfing in places where sharks frequent, then we can expect that a shark attack might happen. Why should they be killed for exercising their natural instincts though? Why should we kill sharks in their natural surroundings just so that we can enjoy some sports in surroundings that aren't really where we naturally live? Either take the risk or admire the ocean from land or in a boat. We are just increasing the destruction of the eco-system in order to enjoy some water sports. We are far more destructive than sharks.
That got "bitten" by a shark, to be correct ;) Well actually I would. We are nothing in the ocean compared to sharks; it's their domain more than ours. When it comes to food chain, they're above us when we're in the ocean. This should go without saying.
I can't imagine how distressing it must be to witness, or lose a loved one to sharks, but, you as a swimmer, are in their home, their environment. Its not fair on the animal. if you dont want to be attacked, don't run the risk by going in there .

There's no such thing as a safe beach, and there is no way to make them safe. Shark attacks are only one of the dangers. It's up to each one of us individually to educate our selves individually and do what we can individually to mitigate the risks. Sharks feed mostly at dawn and dusk. Okay, I won't go into the water at dawn and dusk. Sharks are attracted by these things. Okay, I won't do those things. Here's where the rip tide is. Okay, I'll stay out of the rip tide. I'm responsible for myself. If something bad happens to me, it's on me. I don't want government trying to protect me, because government intervention only makes things worse AND I won't be any safer.
A good friend of mine was attacked in the Caribbean and nearly died. She only survived because the people who were in the boat were two trauma surgeons, one of whom was her husband, and two trauma nurses. They all went on holiday together. Her husband saved her life by yelling at her and telling her to fight. She was so angry with him that her will to live kicked in.
Awful and kinda funny story. I can see getting annoyed myself if my husband were yelling at me to fight. I’d fight for sure so I’d live to let him have it later. 😂 But really glad your friend lived!

I've seen a video on her. I think she's a shark conservationist or motivational speaker now. They were going to amputate, but her husband was sure he could save her limb. She was very lucky.
@Mass Debater there's a difference between knowing and taking a risk, and straightup swimming into a shark's mouth. Just to make it simple: I habe access to a 800 HP car, but I drive it reasonably, now another driver ignores the rules (and laws), so, by your logic I'm at fault?
@Mass Debater I would totally be in trouble if I lived there. I would cut up shark nets and I truly believe anyone caught killing a shark should be killed! Eye for a eye! Human being's think that they should have the right to everything! Wrong! We don't have the right to kill sharks just so that people can swim in the ocean! We have plenty of land to live on and hey when sharks start walking around on land killing people then I'll agree that they should be killed if found walking around! But as long as we go into their homes we get what we asked for!!!!
You've got to know the ocean the beaches before you even dare to swim in them. Us Aussies are taught about looking out for rips, whirlpools and sharks. Surfing is an Aussie thing and we respect sharks.
Sorry mate I’m also an aussie and what you just said was stupid, nothing in what you just said is fucked and I couldn’t even be bothered explaining it to you all I’m gonna say is shark attacks especially by tiger sharks and great white sharks again are steadily increasing because we depleted their home The ocean of its fish which is their food and we’re on the menu now so do a little bit of research first

It's great to see so, many comments that feel the way I do. I live on the east coast where we are perfectly aware that sharks are in the water. I don't swim in the ocean, you couldn't pay me enough. You can see fishermen fishing from the piers and catching baby sharks, then you can look down the beach and see fishermen fishing from the shore where children are playing in the water. I do not understand why they are allowed to fish near where people are swimming, which attracts sharks when they catch a fish it just sends shivers down my spine. Then we blame the sharks who live in the ocean it is their home, I actually saw a documentary where the announcer said it's our birthright to swim in the oceans free of fear, not sure what planet he was from.

Think before you enter the water. Follow some simple rules and you limit your chance of attack. Remember you're in their territory. If you can't accept that then you shouldn't be in the water!
Jason Sudbury Finally, I get to read a comment from someone with sense ! We were born on land not in the sea therefore have no right to go killing the creatures who inhabit it. Just because you want a swim or surf , like you said know the risks , try and limit them . It’s their home.
The ocean is such a wonderful place, why are we letting this great place die. Sharks rarely attack. These documentaries usually don’t help with the savior of these species. As a result more and more sharks die from misunderstandings! We need to come together to find a way to safely pair humans and sharks. Save the sharks and keep the people safe.
I’ve fished the beaches of Florida for years. I know not to go into the water at dawn, dusk or when water is murky. Even so, i could be bitten but taking sensible precautions reduces the risk greatly.
We got land, soil, trees and anything We got all of treasures Sharks. Ya sharks. Sharks are from water and ya we know its Their home. Imagine if sharks kill us in land. It will happen? NO! Let sharks be free
The electric shark deterrents are the way to go. They have been developed for divers as well as for the bottoms of surf boards. Killing sharks in any way won’t help keep attacks from happening. The only way to make ocean activities safe for humans is use tech that deters them from wanting to bite people if the first place and it has the added bonus of not harming the sharks (along with training sharks to not want to come near humans).

Sharks survived the dinosaur extinction. Overfishing is obviously the problem. Crocs, alligators, deadly predatory creatures at top spots for water recreation is a matter which should be discussed on behalf of people who want to, you know, go outdoors.

You have to be a dam brain surgeon to blame a shark for people's stupidity!!!! Asshole
they should ask themselves why are the sharks coming so close to the shore. It's simple. If they are fishing away there food than they are looking for another food source. Stup with the long line fishing and stop destroying the nature and the attacks will degrees.
The people who are killing the most sharks are not the surfers, not the nets, nor country shark culling. The great number are killed by the whole shark fin soup industry. Learn about shark fin soup. There must be ways to allows surfers, swimmers and sharks and the rest of the wildlife to enjoy the ocean together and safely.

I love how scientists claim that all shark attacks are mistaken identity... Here is what is really going on, since the dawn of ages, the human race barely swam in the predators domains. Now that humans are more advanced and our civilizations are growing, we are more in the water. In result, the more people in the water, the more sharks can have easy prey. I claim that you need to respect this animal, if you enter this domain, you are assuming your risks...

It's called water sports and recreation. Sharks live in the ocean, but are not always wanting to attack people so there is a good chance for people to swim and surf. Recreation can be done on land too. Like when people choose to go camping in some forest, and there is a possibility that they may be mauled by a bear, or bitten by a poisonous spider, or snake. Bears, snakes, spiders and other potentially dangerous land creatures live where people live, work and play, and you don't ask why people must be there at all? There are people who are like predators too and we would be more likely to encounter a human predator anywhere on earth than encountering a shark while swimming or surfing.
4:30 Wow, she lost her son and still has the wisdom and foresight to call for solutions oriented balanced approaches to safety. She's a better person than I am. If a shark killed one of my kids I would be overcome with grief and rage. Good for her!
She didn't offer any strategies that people might put in place to make themselves safer. The only one I know that fully works is to stay out of the ocean.
As a spear fisherman I have given the risk of shark attack a great amount of thought and have come to the conclusion that shark attack is part of what I love and I accept that risk. Sharks should never be hurt or hunted for attacking people in their habitat.
That's the correct mentality but I wonder how many people still have that mindset after having been attacked and seen their buddy being eaten alive. The choice then isn't to kill sharks but to get out of the water.
I've been to Shelly beach, absolutely the most beautiful place in the world. Definitely not a place to surf! There is high tide and waves, but certainly risk is higher. You either smarten up and save your life, or throw your life into a jungle and expect not to be eaten. Good luck!

I watched a Documentary based in Florida, around a very populated seal colony. Many white pointers were waiting to feed on the seals, which they did at the same time every year but so were a number of killer whales, one had a young offspring. When a large white pointer tried to attack her calf, she attacked and killed the shark, leaving the scent of the dead shark in the water. To everyone's surprise whom were filming the documentary, the sharks in this rich feeding area left & no shark came back again for a number of weeks. Every shark they saw approach the seal colony quickly left the area. They believed this was due to the sharks smelling the scent of the dead shark which made the sharks avoid the area because of the threat of there being a bigger predator in the area. The whale sharks had left the area a few days after the kill, so there was no other season they could think of for the sharks keeping away for such a long period.
because they are nothing but mediators between the super rich and everyone else collecting tax to pay interest on billions of dollars of bonds owned by the 1%. everything else is expendable keeping that process viable
@@livinglight9915 one way that I believe would fix that is a very high death tax like 90% but no one wants that for some reason but if we had it normal tax might even become unnecessary
@John Rogers yeah well I don't think we should try to tax more but we could remove alot if not all tax and replace it with a very high death tax maybe even 100% and then everyone will be on a much more even playing field with alot of opportunity since they would be no tax both for individuals and for companies.
Perth June 2016, there have been 2 more shark fatalities in a week. One a surfer south of Perth at Falcon, the other a diver 2 klms off Mindarie just north of Perth. Both attacks are suspected great whites, the second one around 5.5 metres in length.
"No one was attacked during the trial so it was successful." Talk about pretzel logic. The implication that killing all those tiger sharks prevented attacks is absurd. It's like saying no one was killed at beaches where youth surf lessons were taking place -- therefore 8-year-old surfers prevent shark attacks.
Marine life is important you dumb fuck, if sharks go then the whole marine ecosystem will collapse. Do some research and gain some knowledge on the effects of a top predator going extinct in an ecosystem. Sharks are one of the most important and vital parts of the ocean.

I used to body board every afternoon in Ballina NSW. I left school in year 10 to start an apprenticeship. I was working one day waiting for knock off to go boarding at North wall in ballina. I was listening to the radio that day. I think I was 16 at the time. An announcement come over the radio saying an Alstonville teenager had been attacked and killed by a shark at the same beach I was planning on attending that afternoon. Turns out it was one of my old class mates. Peter Edmonds. I haven't been out boarding ever since that day.
I thought it was against the law to chum the water when people are going cage diving. Maybe it depends on the individual country. Does anyone know for sure?
When I was young & I lived in the Islands a Tiger shark would swim in during the full tide looking for a free meal & then out again. Sometimes it would be about 20 feet away from me.. Since I was not afraid it ignored me. It is like if you run away from a dog it will chase you. A shark knows when you are afraid & it will be more interested in you the more helpless you are behaving. In NZ at Piha I was brushed by a great white while a helicopter was above me for a few minutes. I was out past Lion rock. I swam to the nearest breaking wave & bodysurfed to shore about 100m. The shark must have thought I was trying to chase it? Lifesavers said the shark had circled me for a few mins before the chopper came over. If I was afraid I am sure the shark would have bitten me. Sharks like an easy meal, not one that may bite back.
Looks to me you got extremely lucky. What will happen if you run into that one shark that wants you as a meal? You being not afraid won't matter! People need to cut the nonsense and admit these sharks are man eaters. Idc if it is 10 people a year one incident is too much.
Where I'm from if someone is mauled by a bear, or wolves it's because they entered the wrong area at the wrong time. There has never been a time we thought "Welp should we kill all the bears now???" "Lets put nets all over the forest" It's sad when someone is attacked by a shark *but* also duh. You're in shark territory when you're in the ocean.
One guaranteed way of avoiding a shark attack: swim in a pool. Otherwise, take the risk and enjoy the ocean. But please do not claim that it is your birthright to be 100 % safe in the ocean.
In a book I read where an expert said he'd go inside a shark cage to observe sharks, but he would have second thoughts about doing this with crocodiles. He said he'd fear the croc would find a way to get in.
The guy said there have been no attacks on the beaches where the sharks spend most of their time. A beach is sand or pebbles adjacent to the sea. That might explain why there have been no attacks on the beach.
I was kayaking in Newcastle harbour a couple of weeks ago and something large bumps the kayak. I continue, thinking gee I wonder if that was...then frantically trying to convince myself it was nothing, started paddling quicker then something rams the back of the kayak, this time turning the kayak almost 90 degrees. Was terrifying had me panicking to get back to the beach at Carrington asap. With my heart beating out of my chest and my crazy oarsmanship, my eyes scanning for shadows it occurs to me that my reaction was going to make the thing chase me so then I froze and didn’t want to move. It was a humbling experience and will be in my mind every time I enter the water. A friend suggested it was a dolphin but I’m not so sure it was such a powerful shove.
it likely was an aggressive attempt to obtain the ‘food’ in the little boat !! You. Dolphins play and show you who is playing, whereas sharks make attempts but are cautious if these attempts dont prove to upset the boat in a couple of trys as there are those who carry ‘bang sticks’ and the like!
I wonder if the sharks are coming into beaches for protection; to avoid the horrific massacring of large groups of Sharks, which are being wiped out by boats from other countries fishing Illegally in Australian waters. Sadly, these beautiful creatures are being killed only for their fins. Deeply disturbing.
I saw bull sharks on my honeymoon, I love sharks and have swam with a few species big and small, decided to have alittle snorkel (well I couldn't miss the chance🤷♀️). Was in the water for maybe 30seconds, just enough for a quick peek. Then hauled ass out. They looked so muscley and absolutely terrifying It would be horrific to be attacked by 1. I was surprised by how scared I was afterwards, it was a bad decision on my part. Awesome memory to have though and some amazing photos!
Ban chumming. The sharks are associating boats and humans with a free easy meal and therefore putting surfers and swimmers at extra risk. They are not stupid creatures. Fishing at popular beaches is another red flag. Condolences to the victims families.
I don't think the statistics given here are correct at all. There was no mention by the expert that tagged sharks from South Africa come and go to Australia! The plain truth is that great whites are appearing all over the world where they have never been seen before (ie) England! The statistics saying there are only 1700 around the Australian coast is ridiculous in my opinion.
Makes you wonder will ppl want they odd ones killed in the hope no more will appear? It seems for some that's their thinking , humans seems to think they have the sole right always to enter anywhere without wildlife posing a threat, yeah we' l just eliminate everything cause that works ?? I know we all want to enjoy the waters but at what cost to the animals that reside there? For some that doesn't matter , fear is real but it's nature , which has the right to be there, and has been there millions of years and definitely before us
I have swum with the 3 most dangerous breeds of sharks and the bull shark was the most aggressive and scary. But even so, humans are way more dangerous, and driving is far more lethal than swimming in the ocean.
its an archaic system put in place decades ago when they knew no better and haven't done the research to prove how nonviable they are. so the councils have them up for the psychological benefits and probably have some sort of legal cover if and when someone is killed, because they have SOMETHING in place, with some sort of loose science to back it up...

I am amazed by humans ,we think that that we own this planet ,that we are the top predator and when a shark bites a human that is swimming or spear fishing and end up being biten or even eaten ,what do you think is going to happen putting blood or splashing like an injured aquatic creature and is going to do what that environments top predator ,the shark is in coming on to land and biting people stay out of ocean swim in pools if you go in the ocean you take your life into your own hands ,it isn't going to ever stop ,we have no right to complain or kill or think we own this whole planet ,this proves we don't I think anyone who complains when they get bite ,go into a valvanoe and get killed by lava who's fault is that ,if he'd stayed where he is supposed to be none will ever get biten stay on land
"that we are the top predator " doesn't the fact that, were is not for conservationist movements, we could hunt all other apex predators into extinction, kinda prove that we are in fact the top predator?
a statistical study that I have never seen, or heard about is "more people in the water = more attacks" I.E. If there was a statistical study using an estimate of how many swimmers, surfers, and divers where in the water year by year from say 1960 until now, and compared that to the number of reported attacks, it might be interesting. This comes close @ 27:39

@NoPain NoGain and?
Lions live on land, so surfers, divers, swimmers who want to enjoy the ocean without risk will breed some lions in your local neighbourhood, and when you complain about attacks, we'll just say 'lions live on land, so if you want to step outside your house, well thats on you"
Well said!
Shaun Piercey it makes no sense you said people will breed lions so they aren’t in their natural habitat but the sharks are in their natural habitat. So your synopsis is flawed from the start smh.

I go on holidays at Evans Head and some people you talk to say the problem lies with the do gooders. They chum the waters near known surfing zones. Because they do it, sharks now associate the trawlers with food.

I was thinking the same thing. A glass wall would be better than those nets
@@shellyduval9646 The only problem with making a wall like that is it could get damaged and that could cause a problem with the animals being hurt worse
@@RebelRoseJade that and it could interfere with animals who need the waters that potentially would be walled off to feed or breed. Not just sharks
How is it about survival of the fittest?
Seriously Paul? :-o
This is basically what my comment says ;)
That got "bitten" by a shark, to be correct ;) Well actually I would. We are nothing in the ocean compared to sharks; it's their domain more than ours. When it comes to food chain, they're above us when we're in the ocean. This should go without saying.

There's no such thing as a safe beach, and there is no way to make them safe. Shark attacks are only one of the dangers. It's up to each one of us individually to educate our selves individually and do what we can individually to mitigate the risks. Sharks feed mostly at dawn and dusk. The electric shark deterrents are the way to go. They have been developed for divers as well as for the bottoms of surf boards. Killing sharks in any way won’t help keep attacks from happening. Because it's there. They know the risks
Because it’s a sport, we take risks but we understand the risks. I don’t agree with nets but I do agree we can find a balance to keep swimmers and surfers safe while preserving marine life. We just aren’t there yet!
Rockstar because it’s fun, exhilarating and like anything, because we can. Now, that said, I would never. It carries too much risk for me, but if you are willing to assume the risk, go for it.
Rockstar Great question. This is what I've been asking all along. Stay out of the water. Stop killi h the sharks.

Same thing happens in the Farllons off San Fran. GWs feed on seals until the Orcas come in and the GWs disappear until next year

Your nuts. Good luck. Shark bait.
Lol nice
Looks to me you got extremely lucky. What will happen if you run into that one shark that wants you as a meal? You being not afraid won't matter! People need to cut the nonsense and admit these sharks are man eaters. Idc if it is 10 people a year one incident is too much.
@@TimothySlickback I agree with you. If they’re hungry enough and big enough, they’ll eat you. Simple as that.
No, you were just lucky. Most attacks occur when people do not see tge shark until it bites them.
Where I'm from if someone is mauled by a bear, or wolves it's because they entered the wrong area at the wrong time. There has never been a time we thought "Welp should we kill all the bears now???" "Lets put nets all over the forest"
It's sad when someone is attacked by a shark *but* also duh. You're in shark territory when you're in the ocean.
If you dont want to get eaten, stay out of the water. There are plenty of swimming pools you can swim in.
One guaranteed way of avoiding a shark attack: swim in a pool. Otherwise, take the risk and enjoy the ocean. But please do not claim that it is your birthright to be 100 % safe in the ocean.
It’s heartbreaking to see so much life is killed by those nets! Dolphins sharks ect. Drum lines are not good
Wait, let me get this straight, sharks live in the ocean????
Just keep on kayaking, man. Sooner or later that luck will run out.
it likely was an aggressive attempt to obtain the ‘food’ in the little boat !! You. Dolphins play and show you who is playing, whereas sharks make attempts but are cautious if these attempts dont prove to upset the boat in a couple of trys as there are those who carry ‘bang sticks’ and the like!
It was a shark....
Its their domain, you dont see a shark wandering down your high street do you ?, so why go into their world, you live by it, you die by it.
People killed by cars in 2017 1300. Killed by sharks 1.
How many sharks were killed by humans? Serious question to point out how insignificant one attack on a human is.
>bait and feed wild predator animal
>wow look how dangerous they are omg
Don't you hate people sometimes...
I wonder if the sharks are coming into beaches for protection; to avoid the horrific massacring of large groups of Sharks, which are being wiped out by boats from other countries fishing
Illegally in Australian waters.
Wow, scary! I have a great respect for the water and for sharks, to be sure! Thank you for a very well done video…
If wild animals are attacking, it warns God’s hand of protection is lifting. Animal attacks are one of the Judgment plagues. Ezekiel 14:21.
well isn't that special
Putting shark nets up is no different than trapping all forrest. One suggestion. Either keep off the water or deal with the consequensces. Period.
Killing sharks is murder. It’s their home.
Sharks don’t wanna eat people..
shark: I love to eat people 🤤
Good feeling to go surfing in overcast dreary weather, good to see they're learning from the attacks
I thought he said “...we like to enjoy our b*tches without fear” 🤣
Ban chumming. The sharks are associating boats and humans with a free easy meal and therefore putting surfers and swimmers at extra risk. They are not stupid creatures. Fishing at popular beaches is another red flag. Condolences to the victims families.
swimming in the ocean is NOT like jogging in a wildlife park. it is like jogging in a jungle.
when sushi bites back
😂😆🤣😂😆🤣😂😆🤣
I have zero sympathy to idiots.
Dogfish sushi
The poor little dolphin 😓😢
Luna Cally the people that installed these hooks should be in jail for life
poor sharks
poor turtles
poor fish
poor sting-rays
I don't think the statistics given here are correct at all. There was no mention by the expert that tagged sharks from South Africa come and go to Australia! The plain truth is that great whites are appearing all over the world where they have never been seen before (ie) England! The statistics saying there are only 1700 around the Australian coast is ridiculous in my opinion.
you idiot....they have lived in the mediteranian for....ever.
Even up as far as scotland they have been spotted.
For some that doesn't matter , fear is real but it's nature , which has the right to be there, and has been there millions of years and definitely before us
21:56 The Shark Punisher 😂
I have swum with the 3 most dangerous breeds of sharks and the bull shark was the most aggressive and scary.
But even so, humans are way more dangerous, and driving is far more lethal than swimming in the ocean.
it is bad how they put all the nets out to kill the sea life in the water by the bad
nets
human lives matter.
its an archaic system put in place decades ago when they knew no better and haven't done the research to prove how nonviable they are. so the councils have them up for the psychological benefits and probably have some sort of legal cover if and when someone is killed, because they have SOMETHING in place, with some sort of loose science to back it up...
@@scottleft3672 No shit dummy! However the ocean is not our home and you enter at your own risk so stop with your stupid comments already and get some compassion beyond yourself
kyleigh Penn by the bad nets??
Sacrifice your people to mother nature, let her beasts have their fill.
That is so sad poor sea creatures .
poor tigers....let them out at night from zoos.
@@scottleft3672 the difference is in some cases they are better in captivity especially with the poachers, destruction of habitat all that shit. Not the same at all.
Its their habitat, not ours!
we are only guests!!
STOP Killing Them Leave them alone!!
Respect them!
Imagine defending you territory and getting killed by others for considering you as a merciless killer
Wow I thought the nets went to the floor. The sharks can just swim under or go around
this is why we have a problem you tease sharks with food while humans are in a cage then you leave and a surfer or other dives come along to use water and the sharks associate them with food when they have no food to offer then the sharks eat them , you tour guides are the fucking problem leave them alone stop teasing them and maybe with time the problem will be solved
I am surprised how the world scientists could not guess a simple question as to why the great white shark targeted a specific person instead of so many people present in the water.
Well, do you shove 5 steaks in your mouth at once? or do you eat them one at a time? and do you get full at some point?
@30:00 Dude! It's a white shark, the top predator of the ocean.
I'm sorry for your mate's loss of life. That is tragic!
But what do you expect!???
You're in its territory.
It swims, it makes little sharks, and the rest of the time it eats.
What do you expect for the white pointer to do...give you a high five?
With sharks ALWAYS expect the unexpected at anytime anywhere
The sharks following the green migration line from NZ are looking for better social security benefits ... joke cuzzie bros.
The ocean is a wilderness experience that we undertake with caution, and the worse killers are humans.
Bruce at 5:00 has never heard of the u.s.s. Indianapolis
a statistical study that I have never seen, or heard about is "more people in the water = more attacks"
I.E.
If there was a statistical study using an estimate of how many swimmers, surfers, and divers where in the water year by year from say 1960 until now, and compared that to the number of reported attacks, it might be interesting. This comes close @ 27:39
