Probably not too well. They might see the effect on the screen where they see the clips Stephen mentions and cuts to but it might be slightly off since Deadpool was actually still there in front of them.
But hey, there has to be some benefit to watching the show at home. The audience may get it up close and personal and some bonus material but at home jokes which have Stephen hiding away from the camera and than pop up again or require after effects work better in post.
